Very beautiful place. We stayed almost 2 weeks n it was wonderful the whole time. The Host n Co Host are all wonderful and very friendly. We would recommend this camp ground to anyone. The bathrooms and showers very clean ( showers not hot enough for my liking ) , but was still a very nice clean place. I would deffently go again .

A nice one night stop on our way south from Washington. The camp hosts were very nice but I feel they could do a bit more around the campsite to aid in clean up. Some cigarette butts in the bbq and some trash in the fire pit. Access was easy, close to town, some trails near the campground, next to the Sacramento River, each campsite doesnt have a lot of privacy but youre far enough away from your neighbor. I would stay again just needs more consistent clean up.

Great location! Looks like most of the sites are pull-thru. Campground is close to I-5, but no freeway noise. There is a nice walking/bike trail in the park. This is a USFS campground and definitely had more amenities than most. Some sites have water and electric. No dump site in the campground. Lots of huge old trees that must be wonderful in the summer for shade. Sites are spaced far apart. Lassen NP southwest entrance is about an hour drive away. We would definitely stay here again.

Camp host was off duty (sign) when I checked in (afternoon). He eventually came out of his trailer and was very grumpy grungy and not very nice. He told me he was off duty. I explained to him I didn't know (forgot) what campsite I had reserved, his reaction was not good. In his obvious state of annoyance with me he begrudgingly looked it up and gave me the info. I thanked him and left, however I could not find the spot since there were no last names posted on the dry-erase markers at each site so I returned to inquire again. This time he was even more annoyed and just pointed to where the site was. I left and again and couldn't easily find it. This time I got out of my car and inspected all the sites he pointed to and eventually found it. The sign marker and number for my site was on the ground in the grass which was nearly invisible from the road. When I looked at the sign on the ground I could only see a numbers written so small that you needed the sign to be as close as reading a book. Other campgrounds have your last name and dates written fairly large so you could read them from your car as ones arrives and searches the grounds. Imagine if it had been at night ?! There's literally no way for anyone who's pulling in for their reserved site at any hour of the day or night to find their spot, thereby having to check with the host who is a curmudgeon with a bad attitude. Secondly the showers had no hot water. When host did his rounds the next day, he never smiled or waved to any of the campers including me whom I waved gleefully as he drove by with a stone face never looking at me. His attitude made me feel like I wasn't welcomed there.

Mobile Data Speed Map

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
