Proximity to Harpers Ferry is a plus. Not our first time here. Have enjoyed it each time. Portapotties and vault toilets very clean, but we were there around Veterans Day, so probably not much activity there this time of year. Its a great spot. There was a campground host but we arrived after dark and left early the following morning , so did not have a chance to interact with them.

Beautiful park and camping. Searched for firewood by riding around the local area without success. Ended up scavenging some wood from park wooded area but there wasnt much. Park restrooms were gross need more frequent cleaning service. Restrooms are heavily used by trail users.

Beautiful campground. The biggest complaint is that by Sunday morning there were no trash/recycling bags left.

Lots of fun and a decent amount of space per area. Sound travels between campsites. Lots of bikers go through and seem pretty nice. It was a clean space, but the bathroom was pretty knarly at the end of the weekend. Would definitely go back at some point.

Awesome campsite along the Potomac! Easy walk from parking and right on the C&O trail. The site was flat and the table/fire ring and grill were in excellent condition. From the site we drove to Harpers Ferry and the battlefields. We had a little bad luck with a rowdy group showing up at 11:00pm and squatting on the site next to us. They raged until 4am. I'm sure it doesn't happen often but it did to us.

I've camped at Antietam Creek several times. I love the location and the facilities. When I arrived this time after a long day of bicycling the C&O, however, I found out that the handle had been removed from the water spigot. I walked the entire length of the campground to discover there was no water. I finally walked across to the campground host and he let me use water from his site out of a garden hose. A note in one of the reminder emails that water was scarce would have been helpful, or even a sign posted on the spigot directing campers to the host. The water from the hose was pretty disgusting as well. I advise campers to bring their own water.

Unfortunately 10 minutes after paying for our campsite I fainted from dehydration and had to leave so we lost what would have been a great campsite and the money we paid to reserve it! :(

Location was nice, but loud. Road goes right through it, it is in some sort of air oath for airplane noise and also trains passing.The bathrooms were very gross. Other than these two factors, it was a great spot.

Upon arrival campsite was clean and quiet. Right before sunset vans full of people from a local river guide service were dropped off next to our site. They allowed their dog to run off leash & it kept fighting with the neighbors dog and barking ALL night. Host was notified, but it just kept happening. We got zero sleep. I love dogs but this was completely out of hand.

The campsite was clean, level, with nearby latrines, & easy access.
