Sites were not level, and there was broken glass around that was concerning for playing children. The bathrooms have many broken tiles and spiders living in all corners as of the bathrooms are not cleaned often enough. Great location though, and the showers have nice pressure and temperature.

Rustic campsite with calm, amenities for a good shower. Perfectly located for visiting Washington without having to use our car.

The restroom was clean and warm The campground is beautiful and in a very convenient proximity to DC. It was close to stores and restaurants as well. Would love to return in warmer weather.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting DC. It was a quick drive to the Greenbelt Metro and then a 30 minute ride to DC. It was nice knowing we had a quiet place to sleep each night. The spot we had was absolutely wonderful. We felt very safe and our spot was private. Less people in the campground than expected, but still had to wait longer than expected for the one shower we found. Overall still 5 stars for a good solid campground.

Love camping at Greenbelt Park! Perfect easy get away not far from DC. Here are my tips:1. Bring your bike! 2. FYI: There are outlets in the bathrooms (and hot showers!!).3. Bring lemongrass oil or deet bug spray to ward off ticks! They are particularly bad. 4. Leave your hammock at home. You cant hang things from trees. Hope this helps! Enjoy!

Location for camping is relatively convenient for the DC area I suppose at a very cheap price really when you factor the bathrooms and shower (not the nicest, but hot). The park is heavily wooded which is a nice atmosphere (but traffic noise and random sirens still cut through). Access to the metro really isn't that convenient unfortunately with the University station being closest, but still 2 miles away; almost a bit far to walk really. There is a parking garage there, but your vehicle may not fit in it. In which case drive up to Greenbelt station nearby. There are some bus stops outside the park, but its also kind of unhandy to get around. Everything takes so long to get anywhere it's frustrating. It can be impractical to drive too! None of this is the parks fault, but just be aware what you're getting into. Overall I think the camping is a good value for sure.
