The pictures for this campsite are old and outdated. It's not a good representation of camp site or grounds at all. There is no parking for the group site close to the site. It's on the other side of the campground. The group site isn't marked or visible from the campgrounds. You have to pack in and pack out in the middle of people's camp site if there is a spot available for you to do so. Otherwise it's a 700ft or more walk from vehicle to site. The water is gorgeous! It's super clear and kid friendly(mostly shallow waters). Steep walk down to the water. There is a porta John that was surprisingly well maintained considering. Otherwise it's the bare minimum primitive camping.

Website says 200 ft to hike in - but the gate to the campsite was locked such that we had to hike in from the gate...which is a lot further. Our group was ~20 people (half of which were small children) and it was a lot of work to carry all of the equipment from the gate. Other than that the campsite was great and everyone had an awesome time!

Review for group site 10. We parked near site 4 to unload our stuff then parked cars in boat ramp parking lot. Great river for tubing. We started at bonds landing in green ridge state forest. Long day of tubing. The site itself was lovely. Good shade and sun if you want it. River access. Porter potty wasn’t too bad. Large site. 2 grills and 2 fire pits. We loved the area. Bills place was horrible. I’ll never go again. So rude! Also they sold me wet wood. Other than that it was a lovely trip. I will be back.

Honestly: It's in the middle of no where. And it was awesome. I was a part of a group of 7, we reserved the group site, which was very large. Awesome weekend spot if you're looking to disconnect. Barely any signal. The smaller sites were very close to each other, so I could not recommend those. But the group site was across a bridge from everything else. Only downside is the 300 feet walk from where the parking lot was to where our site was. We had packed for a car-camping experience, and spent a lot of time bringing our gear to the site from our cars. Made up for it by having trees that were perfect for hammocking.

We had the group site and it was amazing. Lots of space separated from the other campers. Absolutely loved it!
