Camp ground grounds have noticeably declined without a host. Fire pits are full of ash and trash on the regular. No one there to quiet the rowdy crowds past quiet time or even just lack of respect for fellow campers at all times of the day. 50amp outlet is upside down on site 4 making it very awkward to plug in.

We having been going to Suttons Bluff every year for the last 4 years as a family and friends trip. We enjoy riding our side by sides and swimming. Can't wait until next next year!

Arrived on Friday and within minutes of backing in the host was over telling us he was the new host and here are the rules if you don't abide by them I will call the cops and have you escorted out, needless to say that puts you in a bad mood from the start. We informed him we have camped here several years and know the rules. Proceeded to say that Steve the old host did things wrong. So we did our thing like we always do and ignored him. You will need to bring your own cleaning supplies as he does not clean the showers or bathrooms. He sweeps and takes trash out that is all. He does not have wood for sale or Ice at the campground so be sure to bring your own. He will not allow you to park your trailer in the parking lot either requested that if you can't fit it in the campsite then you had to take it home.

Since there is no campground host this year it has gone downhill, bathrooms and showers not clean or stocked fire pits full of ash on Labor Day grass was only mowed near the host site it’s really disappointing to see it go downhill in 1season and I have been going there 20+ years

Needs Steve back, people drive the wrong way, bathrooms don’t get cleaned, toilet paper was empty upon our arrival. Fire rings were so full we had to empty it out in order to use. The facilities are due for a revamp. Rot is setting in. Very enjoyable camp ground for years. Please keep it enjoyable for many more.

I have been camping here every summer since I was 4 mo old, 52 yes later it is still home for me. There have been so many changes over the years, from bathroom put in to paved roads and electric sites, Sutton's Bluff will always hold my heart, it was family ground many years ago. The Forestry dept has done an amazing job maintaining this site. Even without a camp custodian it is a gr8 place. Police yourself and remain respect for others and this site will remain the best place to take your family.

We have been camping here for a very long time. Love the area but sure wish they would improve their bathroom/shower house. The same bathroom stall has been out of order for at least 2+ years. With no camp host, campers are already driving their side by sides over the grassy areas. (the previous camp host kept drivers off of the grass to keep it nice). With that having been said, there's not a more beautiful place.

Overall this is a great place to camp. Downside is limited electric sites. If you want an electric site, which everyone does, you have to book it the moment it opens up which is 6 months prior to your trip. Ive made reservations here before only to not be able to make it 6 months down the road due to scheduling conflicts that arise closer to camping. A playground would be a great addition for the kids to be able to go to play. We take our atvs but sometimes we just want to lay around in the hammock and relax and if the kids had a place they could burn off some energy this could be better accomplished. Overall a great place to go to camp. P.s. We didnt ride trails just the roads as the last couple years that we did the trails they were getting too grown up with brush to enjoy.

We always love coming here, typically in the late spring early summer, but this was a different experience being that it was very cold! We were prepared and we had a fabulous time and Steve, as always, is an amazing host!!

Fantastic campground for families. Large sites. We always reserve double lots 4 and 6 but they fill up quickly. I wish there were more large spots with electric. I love the ability to drive ATV/UTVs and people are all very cautious when driving through the campground. We had a problem with the hot water in the showers this visit so that was a downfall and the reason for the 4 stars. We use the showers instead of our camper because they are nice and roomy. Host is very nice and friendly. I love camping here.
