Camping in early June we nearly had the campground to ourselves. Camp hosts were taking great care of the campground and were helpful for anything we need.

The campground has loops on both sides of the river, so depending on your campsite number and which entrance you use from the main road - it can be confusing to find your campsite.

This was a nice campground to be unattended. Not sure how it would be if it was crowded. Didn’t see a ranger or anything the whole time we were there. Could get rowdy. I think an attendant did drive through on a golf cart once at like 11:00PM the second night. It was a holiday weekend and there was only like four families there. Lots of reserved sites but nobody there. May have been due to the rain in the forecast. Ticks were pretty bad. They love cedar trees and there was a big cedar in our campsite so they would fall on us if we were under that tree. Plenty of bathrooms. Clean enough. No power or running water in the outhouses. Water hydrants in each section. The tent sites are a good hike from the river. Would have walked through the woods to it but the ticks were too bad. Firewood is skimpy. Pretty well picked over.
