The campsite was even, smooth, and well-maintained! The bathrooms were ok, but not super clean. Location was pretty and the loop made a nice walking path.

There is plenty of room between sites and it is a beautiful , quiet campground. We really enjoyed visiting and hope to be back.

Great campsites, facilities and park employees and tours. This website is slow and confusing and wrong about occupancy and discouraged me from going to the park

We picked good weather forecast days to camp during and had an absolute blast. So relaxing and lots of birds and deer to watch at the campsite. Many trails adjacent to the campground. Facilities kept up. Park ranger was happy to help with a stuck grill. Will come back.

Very nice campground. Sites were spacious and paved. No hookups, so battery backup or generator is recommended.

Mammoth Cave is a great place, with many miles of trails, and great cave tours. The park rangers was all very nice and helpful. We will be back.

It poured rain and unfortunately had to find shelter at a hotel. We were glad to be able to tour the cave and spend time in the visitor center but unfortunately couldnt camp

Beautiful site. The spaces were spread out nicely. You didnt feel like you were on top of each other.

Great fir primitive camping; centrally located to all the adventures we were seeking; hiking, camping, cave tours. Kayaking, and zip lining. We had a wonderful time and did not spend all of our time driving!

disappointed that park did not have elec hook ups. Our site was fairly level where we parked but there were pools of water on the site.

I could not tour the caves except the very short main tour; everything was booked six weeks in advance - otherwise I enjoyed the campground and hiking, but I drove from CT to KY to see the caves. I tried booking tours online when I made my reservations but there were none available. That was disappointing.

We enjoyed our stay at the campground. Our site was large and clean. There was some construction that hamper access and noise levels, but nothing that could be handled. The new water and sewer lines will be appreciated I'm sure. This campground is very convenient to everything. The rangers were very friendly and helpful!

We got a campsite closest to the bathrooms but were not disturbed by the proximity. We saw several deer just behind our tent at night, which we thought was cool! The firepit grate was stuck in the upright position and gave us a fight before we started cooking breakfast. We were able to use oil and a lot of force to get it to cooperate. We had a great time, would recommend using this campground!

Site 66 was pretty good. I was happy to have water at the end of the driveway and next to the bathrooms unexpectedly. We had a pop up camper and the only problem is the location of the fire pit. I didn't use it because it is right next to where the pop up extends out over the driveway. I used the neighbors pit because they weren't there, but that was the only thing I wish they would move. We set up a hammock and a screened in room over the table. The table was very close too, which was nice, but I didn't put out my awning to know if it was too close. Since we used a separate room, it worked out perfect for us being as close at it was. You cannot move the tables as they are cement. We had deer walk by daily and even saw a turkey run through. There is very little direct sunlight.
