great campground, was very quiet during the week but did fill up during the weekend, not sure if this is the normal pattern or because of the gov't shutdown, but would definitely visit again

Love it at Mammoth Cave. Camp grounds are always in great shape.

I enjoyed my time at the campground in Mammoth Cave National Park. It is close to and within walking distance to the Visitors Center, the Historical Cave Entrance and a lot of the hikes near the visitors center. There is a camp store and two pay showers with hot water. The lodge has a coffee shop and several choices of restaurants.

We enjoyed Mammoth Cave immensely! It was a bit hot and the coin showers were ok. The campground was very peaceful and the caves were awesome! Guides couldn't have been better!

Awesome campground friendly Rangers. Very clean and well maintained bathrooms. More RV friendly than tents Wish they have camping pads for tents.

Be sure to book a tour of mammoth cave prior to your trip. They were booked prior to our arrival and I should have prepared. We enjoyed the nature and quiet campground. Our kids enjoyed riding their bikes around before dark.

My husband and I camped for our anniversary. The sites are clean and spacious. Theyre conveniently located a short walk from bathrooms, the camp store, and the visitor center. The bathrooms were the nicest bathrooms Ive experienced at a campground. Deer were everywhere, which was fun to watch. Lots of families and kids during the weekend, but a lot less busy during the week. Overall, 10/10.

Very nice and shady campsite within easy walking distance of trails, the camp store, and visitor center. Sites are a bit close together so cross your fingers not to have noisy neighbors like we did!

The camp ground was very well kept. Easy access to all the amenities as well as the hiking trails. Potable water hydrants can be found in numerous places around all sites.

This was our first trip away from home since the covid pandemic began (about a year ago). I was anxious to travel - especially out of state. The campground was booking at just 50% capacity, but I don't think it was even full to that. It was quiet and well kept. The majority of other campers were respectful of pandemic precautions (I only encountered one family in the bathroom without masks). I was more than satisfied with our experience and would definitely return.

The campground facilities are fantastic. The restrooms are kept clean. They have added a "scavenger hunt" for signs around the campground, visitor's center, and lodge for things that can be found below your feet in the cave systems. That was a ball to do. Be prepared as to walk to all these is about 4 to 5 miles.
