Tons of bugs. Very hot and not allowed a generator or hook ups. Did not sleep at all being so hot. Definitely would not sit outside at night with so many mosquitoes. Site was tricky to back into.

The campground is nice. Well laid out. I use a tent and on both campsites, had a flat smooth place to sleep. The staff was excellent in helping make a last minute reservation. No complaints.

I had two different campsites due to my last minute planning for the second night. The first was good, The second need the picnic table to be raised a bit on gravel because it was surrounded by water when it rained. A simple fix. I appreciate not being crammed in lake many private campgrounds. I don't need electric or water or sewer for my brief stays.

We stayed here three nights and the staff (Daniel) was really nice. The campground is well looked after. If I would want anything more it would be to have more electrical sites.

The sites were very well maintained, decent spread between each site. Run a little cheap on the showers as you have to use quarters to use them. But other then that it is a prime location for numerous tours and is itself on a trail that was really pleasant to walk.

No public showers. The showers that were available are 1.50 in coins for 4 mins and it took 2 minutes to get luke warm water. The hot is on the cold side and vice versa. I was also told if we left the campsite earlier we would get an automatic credit on my credit card and that has still not shown for two days of leaving early.

Nice location, close to the visitor center. Nice camping spots. If you have t-mobile don't expect to have any service here.

Major Issues

Our site was a bit tight for our 26-foot travel trailer and we couldnt get our awning out. Otherwise, no complaints. Generators should not be allowed in NPS campgrounds. Or at least their use should be restricted to loops well away from everyone else.
