Campground is beautiful. Bathrooms could use an update but it was nice that a National Park had showers and flush toilets. The ranger that led the historic cave tour was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, very nice.... do not remember her name.

I enjoyed my visit to Mammoth Cave Campground. The sites were close together, but private enough for us in our small RV. The restrooms were clean and convenient and it was great being able to walk to the Visitor Center, Lodge and Camp Store. The shower facilities nearby were a great convenience. ... My only complaint would be the lack of lighting on the trail between the amphitheater to the campground. We walked the trail after the ranger presentation and noticed all the lights were out along the trail. Luckily, we remembered our cell phone flashlights, but if we hadn't had them we could have easily gotten lost, ventured off the trail and stumbled over the many roots and rocks. This could be a hazard and an accident waiting to happen.

Great campground! We loved staying in the park and being able to walk around and hike to everything.

Book guided tours for the cave in advance.

Very nice campground. Lodge and visitors center within walking distance of campsites on a paved trail. Clean restrooms. Would return again to complete other cave tours.
