Nice campground, not crowded at all, but no showers. You have to go to the Store on top of the hill . Would definitely go back.

The Mammoth Cave campground within the national park was a super convenient place to stay, an easy walk to the visitor center and lodge.

This was our first time visiting Mammoth Cave NP and it was great. This park has no shortage of things to do, and the campgrounds are located close to the visitor's center. Bathrooms are clean with pay showers and laundry available.

Campsite was so nice and peaceful. When we arrived someone was parked in our reserved site, but the ranger quickly moved us to a neighboring site which worked wonderfully. We hammock camped and the campground is so wooded that it was not problem at all finding plenty of sturdy trees to hang the hammocks.

Nice campsite with ample space per site and clean bathrooms. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring with a pot rack for cooking. The camp store hours are somewhat limited, which is ok, you just need to plan ahead a bit and arrive before 5 pm if you need to purchase things like firewood or other camp necessities.

The campground is mostly wooded and many of the sites have the tables and fire pits on the wrong side of the site for travel trailers/RVs.

The campsite was quiet and the facilities were kept in good order. The showers at the visitor center worked well, but were a bit cramped. It would have been nice to have a bit of private space for changing.

Restroom was clean and heated. They cleaned the firepits daily for those that checked out. there seemed to be plenty of firewood on the ground, but being the early spring that would be expected. No noticeable mosquitoes.

Very easy to find even if arriving after 5, it is very close to the visitors center. Lots of trees, couldn't even see the full moon, but luckily the visitor center parking lot was nearby with a very open view of the sky. Bathrooms were in good shape and heated. Two downsides, there was very little to no cell service on my AT&T phone at my campsite, and it was difficult to find firewood, but we eventually found some, of course they had it for sale at the lodge.

The campground is relatively small and adjacent to the Historical Entrance so it is a really convenient way to see the park. Their Covid protocols are better than most public spaces so kuddos to them for keeping this experience accessible!!! My only point of caution for those that are seeking a more private camping experience is that the campground is very small and the sites are stacked on top of each other. If the park had been at full capacity I could only image how loud it would be 24/7. I happened to be there during a very quiet season and small kids directly across from my site who were shouting from 5am until bedtime. Kids are kids, I am not going to fault them for having fun. Just wanted to note that even with minimal occupancy you will definitely hear and feel your neighbors

This campsite was great. The campground was nice and well laid out. We could see neighbors but never felt we were lacking privacy. The tables in this campground are concrete and attached to a pad so you can't move them, but they are well placed so you wouldn't need to. The bathrooms were very nice. Recently updated and very centrally locate. The shower facilities are by the camp store. You do have to pay for them and they are a little outdated.
