The campground map was not accurate, which we had used to pick our campsite. Also the site was very sloped which was not conducive to our van. Not that we needed one but there wasnt even a tent pad at the site. Nice campground, pretty poor site. The visitor center was amazing! I would love to come back but not to that campsite!

Park was great. Restrooms were very clean. Enjoyed the trails. The restaurant at the Lodge was very good.

Altogether. this was a great stay! Our campsite was 110,D. Loop D had its own bathhouse with electricity, toilets, and sinks. It was very clean, even with it being Memorial Day Weekend and the park being super busy. This loop is right beside the camp store that has the showers, laundry, extra bathrooms, and a little store. The camp store had the basic items that you might forget or need on your trip: bug spray, firewood, spatula, etc. The firewood felt expensive for how small a bundle it was, but its expected on a busy weekend. It was also within walking distance to the visitor center which is really nice considering parking gets limited throughout the day. Campsite it definitely not level so beware of how big a tent you bring or if you use a camper. I would recommend this campsite to a friend.

The night we camped without electricity was uncomfortable. We moved sites for night two and it was great.

This Campground is very close to the visitor center, and right behind the store, so an easy walk to the showers and laundry available at the store. Great location if you are going on one of the cave tours.

Spent a couple of nights tent camping at Mammoth Park and the site and camping facilities were really nice. Booked the Historic and Violet City tours and enjoyed the stories by the rangers. Best advice I got was from a ranger at the visitors center who said eat lunch before the Violet City tour. Hiked trails close to cave, rode my bike around the park and stargazed in the evening. All of the rangers throughout the park were friendly, entertaining and helpful. Everyone around me seemed to enjoy their experience as well.

The campsite was not very level. Restrooms were clean, well-maintained, and easy to get to from our site. The showers were also clean. We had a wonderful visit and hope to visit again!

Wonderful camp sites, but beware of the poison ivy around the trees. I would recommend taking some poison ivy block like Ivy X barrier gel if you are allergic and put it on before you get to the site. The sites were secluded and the bathrooms were very clean. The handicap accessible tour was wonderful and easy enough for anyone with difficulty with walking or balance issues.

This was a great park! The mammoth cave campground was nice, although the camp store with showers was closed when we went in late November. The shorter trails by the visitor center are a little hard to navigate, but not too bad and the trails on the other side of the river are very well marked and really pretty.

Campground was beautiful and peaceful. Other campers were respectful of each other. Trail systems are very nice and maintained. There are handicap trails available that are nice. Availability of camp store and Lodge nearby these options for getting supplies, gifts, and food. The setting is deep woods with very tall trees. Trail system largely goes down into a valley. Campground is on top of that valley and largely flat.
