Site was fine but had some trees that should be removed between the parking pad and table area as the RV awning could not be opened far. Also, generators are allowed between 8am and 8pm. It was loud at times. Would prefer more limited hours.

Its the nicest and cleanest park/campground Ive ever been to. Loved the tours and the tour guides.

So disappointed that the Campground had so many loops closed on a holiday weekend when all open sites were fully reserved/booked! Additionally, the camp store paid showers was $1.50 for 6 minutes...however, the shower didn't get hot until 4 minutes in.

This campground was clean, quiet, and convenient to the National Parks Visitor Center. Staff were friendly and helpful, although the campground was staffed on limited hours and the nearby store closed surprisingly early. Sites are nicely spaced. This particular site was great. Pull through parking is so convenient with small children, and there was ample room for our tent. It rained, but the ground drained well. The bathrooms have a very nice lighted walkway that we much appreciated in stormy weather as well. The site also has nice trees for hammocks, but be aware of the poison ivy on the ground near by! Still, the location and overall atmosphere were excellent. We would stay here again happily!

The campground was clean, quiet and close to the tours we were interested in.
Very nice. Bring quarters for the showers.

Mammoth Cave Campground was a very nice place to stay. Quiet and clean and the staff was great. We really enjoyed our ranger guide that took us through our cave tours. He was hilarious and dead panned his lines perfectly when trying to be funny. We went on the Historic Cave tour, and the CLeveland Cave tour. They both were very good, but I liked the historic cave tour more. If caves are your thing this is worth a stop in Kentucky, the area is quite pretty around there.

We stayed at the campground in our small travel trailer for 4 days, and it was beautiful. If you're looking for a place to boondock, try here. Heavy shade so your solar won't work well, but with careful management, we did it easily. It was fun to walk to the camp store in the evening for ice cream, too.
Then there's the cave. I hadn't been there in literally 50 years. While I remembered much of it, the Historic tour was so much fun, I wanted to go again. It had rained the day before the Mammoth Dome was very actively dripping.
The next day, we did Jewel Cave. A small gem in the forest that isn't attached to the mother ship of caves, but don't discount it. It's full of interesting formations. We even saw cave crickets, and learned all about these disgusting and vital creatures.
Wanted to do a lantern tour, but they were sold out. Guess another trip is in our future. We'll be back.

No usable WiFi or AT&T signal was an inconvenience.

Beautiful spot! Our group came and reserved sites 70, 72, 74, 77. Although each spot alone would be considered small, having everyone in our group combine our sites was amazing! Lots of space for the kids to play. Great loop for all the kids to ride their bikes. The bathrooms were very clean!

The park doesn't need much praise. It is wonderfully maintained and beautiful.
The Mammoth Cave Campground exceeded expectations. The individual sites were well maintained and big. The fire pit was well taken care of and inculded a grill to cook on. The bathrooms were very clean and even heated!

The cave tours are unbelievable! We did the Grand Avenue and the River Styx tours and loved the both. Quentin the tour guide was extremely knowledge and made the tours very special. We also camped at the local campground in loop C. It was very convenient and within walking distance of the caves. The camp site was very nice, shaded by numerous trees with a nice cement picnic table and a fire ring. Highly recommend staying there.

As far as campground sites and bathrooms go at a National park…this was one of the best! Campground was quiet, had lots of space between each site, and had a great location right next to the cave entrance. Bathrooms were incredibly clean and air conditioned! I have been to many national parks, and these were the best!

Mammoth Cave is a Must See! Campground is challenging when you have heavy rains. Be prepared to take a FAST shower or bring lots of Quarters if you use the shower facilities at the camp store.
