The campground was quiet, tidy and beautiful, the restrooms were spotless. Solid cement picnic table and a nice fire ring with grill option. We visited in late October and the foliage was in full swing. Had a great stay! Truly the cleanest restrooms I have seen in a campground!

Being able to do a bike ride from the campsite to the cave tour and back was a big hit with the kids

The campgrounds provide everything you need, the site spacing is alright, and there tends to be a few trees/shrubs between sites, especially the tent sites. The bathrooms are functional, and are cleaned regularly. The camp store provides everything you may need in a pinch. The only area I would like to see improved are the showers. The showers are small, coin-operated showers located at the camp store, they work for what they need to do, but it would be nice for an update, larger stalls, private changing areas (for the men's shower) etc.)

the "tent only" loop I made reservations for still allowed trailers that ran loud generators (allowed 8a-8p) that left me frustrated. The sites do not offer pads for tents, which was not a problem in the site I chose but seemed problematic at other sites. Some sites were very close together without any privacy while others were more roomy but still without any trees etc between you and your neighbor. Bathrooms were centrally located and clean and water was conveniently available. Campground is near the visitor's center and cave tour entrances. Well maintained with friendly, helpful staff. Happy families everywhere was wonderful to see, but if you're looking for a peaceful private setting go elsewhere.

This was our first experience at a National Park campground. The bathrooms were spectacularly clean and our site spacious and orderly. I liked the large concrete picnic table and the individual concrete slab to park our van (so not parked on grass). We had 2 (of 4) nights of rain, but because our campsite was on a hill, the areas outside our tent quickly dried. The ranger talks on the weekends and on Tuesday morning were just great. The rangers were interesting and happy to answer our questions. One of our nighttime talks involved a singing-along and my 7 year old and 10 year old sang along.
