Great facilities, beautiful land, couldn't be more convenient for spelunking!

We enjoyed tent camping and visiting Mammoth caves. Everything was pretty easy to find and the space for our site was great. Even though it was wet, my kids said it was so much fun!

The campground was lovely! The facilities very nice and clean, having an air conditioned restroom was awesome! Loved the evening talk with the ranger about stars and constellations. Fearless squirrels raided our food kept in cardboard boxes, so next time we will be more prepared! We did the domes and dripstones tour as a family and we learn something new on every tour (this was our 4th visit). Our daughter did the Trog tour and while she was nervous to start, she ultimately LOVED it!! The visitor's center is always kept lovely, the food options are great! Having icecream available on a hot day is always a win. :) thanks so much, I love this National Park!!!

I had a nice one night stay over Memorial Day weekend. Campground was full, but it didnt feel full. It didnt feel like a lot of people. My spot had lots of nice shade. It was not very level though. Overall, it was a great stay nice and close to the visitor center for my evening cave tour.

The campground was great. I was in a regular site (92) the first night and a VIP (full hookups #93) the next night. The rangers were great in helping me make the change. Very friendly and helpful!

Everything about camping here was fantastic. And there was a class put on by the rangers in the evening about star gazing. Every single person I came in contact with was so nice.

really clean camp area and very well organized facilities based around the cave tours. the park rangers were great and very informative. there is a small cellular signal sometimes depending on your location in the park and wifi is spotty, so if you really need to do some online work, best is to go to cave city for the day. i only stayed 2 nights, but hope to come back and check out the other cave tours.

Plan on having a lot of quarters if you want to take a shower. I had no idea that I had to pay for the shower and then the machine only took quarters, no electronic form of payment available.
The showers and toilets themselves were run down and I felt uncomfortable using them.
The campground itself was quite nice if a bit close between sites. The hosts were available in their sites. My site was clean and ready for campers.

Very disappointed that the showers were closed and there was no notice of that on the website. We definitely would not have stayed for 3 nights had we known there were no showers. Blaming COVID is just an excuse; other areas can be open, it just takes more effort. On the plus side, we stumbled onto a sing-along with a ranger at the amphitheater on Saturday evening, and that was lots of fun.

With no water available at individuals campsites, we'll choose somewhere else to stay next time we're in town.
