This a large campsite but due to flooding issues there was little room for any tents if they were to stay dry.

Overall a very good campground and campsite. It was mostly quiet, which is better than our experience at many national park campgrounds. Two qualities would have made it better. 1. There was no platform to pitch our tent. So we picked the most level place we could find on our small plot. But it was not entirely level and there was a big root in the middle. 2. Throughout the night we heard a generator turning on and off. It may have been a trailer, or it may have been one of national park buildings. Either way, somewhat annoying. Still, overall a good value.

Highly recommend taking more than one cave tour. The historic tour and our tour guide were excellent.

Nice campground. Not sure why the National Parks dont put in electric. Seems like it would be more environmentally good rather then generators

Mammoth Caves National Park was an amazing experience. We camped at Mammoth Cave Campground and went on 2 cave tours, both incredible experiences. The campground amenities were great. The bathrooms were very clean, the camp store was super convenient (and had delicious sausage biscuits), and we were within perfect distance from the visitor center. We had a burn ban during our trip, meaning we couldn't have any campfires, so that was a bummer (especially at night) but I completely understood the need for it. Overall, great trip!

Loved learning of this unique UNESCO site. We did the 4 mile, 4 hours tour and loved it. The campground was also great, no hook ups but were not needed and we could walk to the Visitor Center. Overall fantastic and we will come again.

Fantastic campsite. Restrooms are located in the middle and are clean and functional. Really enjoyed staying so close to the visitors center so we can have access to the cave tours. Looking forward to coming back!

Our site was located close to restrooms. Noise level at all times was acceptable. We had three deer visit us at our campsite. Great time!

Great camping Close to mammoth cave. Bathrooms were kept very clean and rangers drive through at least twice a day to check on everyone and answer any questions very friendly staff. Sites were well maintained and animals were constantly walking by. We saw lots of deer and turkeys.

A pretty location close to the cave and the bathrooms. However there was a water drainage through the campsite that left everything muddy and made it difficult to set up a tent. This site would probably be better in the summer when it is dry.

Site D95 had a stream running through it. This would probably be a good campsite in dry weather, but when it rains, the water drains right where you don’t want it. The picnic table area was especially surrounded by water.
