Overall, not a good experience. We were immediately met with a bad attitude attendant upon arrival. Our site was unlevel with no clear tent pad. The mens bathrooms were always filthy. The visitors center was well overpriced. Both restaurants in the lodge serve mediocre food for fine dining prices. The campground has a store, but it is separate from the campground. The people that work there are rude. Expect to pay 3 to 4 times the normal price. There are showers and laundry facilities at the store. Again, expect to pay an exorbitant price for both. We would recommend only coming for the tours, not to camp. We would recommend camping in the nearby areas and commuting to the park itself. There are cheaper campgrounds with full hookups and cleaner amenities close to Mammoth Caves.

Really liked the campground, although we had a pull through site it was backwards, meaning that the door was facing the road versus the picnic table and campfire ring which was weird.Other than that it was nice and convenient to walk to the visitor center where the cave tours started and also close to many trails.

Please remove need to pay for showers.Sensors on lights in restrooms go off too soon and left me in the dark.Park is fabulous and the tours speak for themselves.

Great location near the Visitor Center and Camp Store, which made it easy to get supplies and tickets for tours. Campground was clean and easy to navigate, and felt secluded enough between sites.

Nice campground. Pretty cold while I was there! Clean and comfortable.

Good location. We were at a pull thru and it was off-camber. Person at checkin was very informative. Check out time seemed too early. The Covid self guided tour was underwhelming for the price.
