I enjoy this beautiful park. The campground isnt fancy but the sites are pretty and well separated. Its a short walk to the Visitor Center where the cave tours begin. The gift shop is nice with lots of interesting items.

The campground was clean and well cared for. The bathrooms were also clean (daily) with motion sensor lights kept the bugs down. The only reason I rate 4 instead of 5 is because our site, loop C site 80, was not level. The spot for our tent left us sliding down in our sleeping bags while we slept and our chairs by the fire pit had to be placed in a certain way to keep from tipping. other than that our camping trip there was great, highly recommend! Just maybe avoid site 80 in loop C.

Great campground, walking distance to the visitor center.

Site was on a downhill slope. Wish there was a flatter area to set up the tent.

Great campsite! Within walking distance of the visitor's center, lodge and restaurants, great campstore, and the cave.

No hookups in this campground!!! The site we had (81) is backwards!! Your camper door opens AWAY from the campsite. This is really dumb!!! Generators prohibited 8pm-8am. Should be 9pm or later!!

Nice campground. Site 80 is not very level for a motor home but we made due.

Nice campground, great sites - overall just as advertised. Our loop was quiet at night too.
Washrooms are as clean as the user leaves it behind. Never understood the need to throw the used toilet paper on the ground instead of toilet. Nothing the park can do about, except maybe do a cleaning round twice a day.
With the caves nearby, plenty to do during daytime and NO mosquitoes! That is a big one.

This campground is very nice and well-maintained. We stayed at site 80 in a pop up. The pull-through drive was nice for a quick set up. The land drops away pretty quickly from the pad, and the rest of the site is on a hill with beautiful trees perfect for our hammocks. No good spot for a tent. Bathrooms were very nice and clean.

No complaints! Mammoth Cave itself is awe-inspiring, and the campground is within distance of pretty much anything you'd need while camping/hiking.

Great place, clean bathrooms. Went in the off season, so it was quite and deer walked right through the campsites. Some 'Tent sites' on the outer side of the loops are on sides of hills and were not flat for tents. If tenting, I recommend booking sites on the inward spaces of the loops.

Loved the air conditioned bathroom. Got a relatively more private site, and enjoyed there was a selection, even on a busy day. The Park Rangers were very helpful with the logistics of reservations and where to find camping. I recommend taking on a walk on the nearby Echo Spring boardwalk, a short drive away, at the bottom of the hill.

We stayed at the campground one night and at the lodge two nights. Had a great time exploring the park and riding the ferry over the river to explore the other half of the park to enjoy a beautiful pick nik, then exploring the cave system. Walking around the park at night was such a joy looking up at all the stars with it being so dark away from all city lights. Then with the deer grazing 8 to 10 from us with no concern of us being there. Its so dark you since somethings there so you turn your flashlight on to see theres several deer that close to us. Even better was with the Wuhan virus concerns we practically had the park to ourselves in July the peek of summer vacation season. Had a Beautiful time for our first visit to the park and hope to return again in the future.
