Nice stay at a great park! Only issue was loud campers in site across from us. My wife had had it at midnight and told them to quiet down.

I really enjoyed ourselves. It was wonderful seeing the deer come through the camp during the day and everybody was respectful and left them alone. It was great

We have camped at Mammoth Cave for almost 30 years. This year we had the displeasure of camping thee twice. First time sign said campground full. First time we saw that and it looked empty so we drove in anyways. Over 1/2 of the sites were empty. It was 9pm and we were able to find a site. Next time was on our way back. Again the campground was full but it was not a full campground. It is so disappointing to travel so far and to be greeted by reservation only and it being empty. This is not the only time on our 17,000 mile trip this happened. If you want campers leave some sites for the first come people. The only Rec Gov campgrounds that were actually full were the first come ones. If it was only reservation there were always sites and you could not use them. The next morning they were still empty. We know camping is popular now. We wish it were not. To not be able to enjoy our National Parks without a Reservation is ridiculous and sad. It shows you are now catering to the exclusive club of money and do not care about people who wanted to see our great country.Keep camping accessible to all. Leave 1/2 the sites first come sites and those sites should be as nice as the reserved. Otherwise I would think that you prefer those big rig campers that just stay in their motor homes.

Other than very hot everything was fine. Rangers were friendly and helpful as always.

We stayed the last week in April 2022 and it was very pleasant with no crowds and many choices of site.Even though we had a reservation we changed our site because the reserved site was too uneven and would've required an excessive leveling effort for our RV. That was the biggest negative for us but with many open sites it was easy for us to switch. We took the grand ave tour and the star chamber tour and enjoyed, both were great.
