Right next door to the caves and visitors center. Excellent place to stay while youre doing the caves.

Great camp site. The only issue was it was beside the street. Get one NOT right by the street. We got #26 and it was by the Green River Ferry Road. At night, lights be flashing by. But other than that, it's near the visitor center like a couple mins drive, has shower and bathroom, post office, and mini convenient store. Campsite that are nearest to the bathrooms are #14, 15, 38,37, 50 and 51 within our loop. We're here July24,2024. Mosquitos swirming us at trails even with repellent sprayed on us. Our thermacell product worked at our campsite. We placed on table and it did it's thing. Didn't get swirms of mosquitos. Woke up to beautiful sound of birds chirping and singing. Saw also a lot of deers passing by. Love the trees around the camp site. Overall, great camp site. I would recommend the historic tour of the cave. Two hour walk with a few ducking, squeezing, sitting, learning and climbing up the stairs. Had a fun guide, too, with a great sense of humor. Made us laugh. We would have walked more trails, but we couldn't stand the mosquitos swirming at us esp nearing dusk.

We were in 2 different loops at Mammoth. Not enough bathrooms and out of 2 women's stalls, one was out of order in each loop.
