We started out with the Extended Self-Guided Cave Tour, thinking that would offer us enough cave experience. It only whet our appetite, and we went on to take the Historic Tour, Frozen Niagara Tour, Great Onyx Lantern Tour, and Echo River Springs Walk with Ranger Miriam Matthias. We also hiked the Dixon Cave Trail, Green River Bluffs Trail, River Styx Spring Trail, Whites Cave Trail, and part of the Sinkhole Trail (up to where it was closed for construction). The Flat Hat Chats were very interesting, and the Visitor Center had great displays and education about cave formation, sinkholes, and ecology of the area.We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, and stayed until Tuesday morning. It was a wonderful trip!

Really enjoyed this campground and the convenience of its location for being able to walk to visitors center for the cave tours. Our site was shady and level and convenient to water and bathrooms. Had a great time!

Nice campground. Many of the pull through sites, like 13B, face the incorrect direction (camper door opens towards the road rather than the living space).

Campground was great. Rangers went through regularly to keep an eye on things and were friendly. The air conditioning in the restrooms was a pleasant surprise and relief from the heat outside. Overall a great experience. The camp store was nice as well with needed items stocked and its not far to the visitor center for the cave. Will definitely be back.

Visited in early May 2021. Very clean campground, other groups were also respectful of the grounds, and had some of the cleaner bathrooms I have seen at a campsite. Ranger programs at night were interesting and entertaining!
