Great stay

The ranger at check-in was helpful. I appreciated having the picnic table and fire grate (even though I didn't use mine). I was warned online that leveling my truck camper might be challenging, and it was, but that wasn't a surprise. The site was clean. Other campers observed quiet hours. My campsite was in easy walking/biking distance from the Visitors' Center. There was a nighttime viewing party during my stay. The camp store and USPS were close by. Restaurant food was available at the nearby motel complex. The circuitous hiking trail I chose to walk was well-marked and accessible.

Trails above the surface and very nice cave systems. Nice campground with no electric. Close to visitor center where they have a restaurant and coffee shop.

Wonderful campground and park. We will definitely be heading back next year to stay longer and do more.

Campgrounds are well kept bathrooms are very clean, we used a pop-up camper, there were people coming in late in the evening after dark ,slaming doors and shining lights in our camper, they never got settled until after 11pm I felt that this was unnecessary.

I love Mammoth Cave NP. Our ranger guide, Chris, was amazing and fun. The crew in the visitors center were helpful and friendly. I can tell people really enjoy their jobs here. We were the very last campers in the campground the evening of November 30th so that was pretty cool as well as a privilege. Overall, it was an experience to remember and relish.

The tours we went on had amazingly prepared and friendly, knowledgable guide rangers. The views in the cave on the tours were beautiful and I appreciated the introduction prior to departure because they shared information about additional physical requirements than what was online (you can call for details too!) and that helped us all be prepared for the physical challenges on our specific tour. I HIGHLY recommend this park! The camping spot had a nice, PAVED!, parking slip, a fire ring with a grill, and a nice picnic table. Our dogs had a great time too. The camp store has anything you may forget and the fire bricks worked great too. The park is easy to navigate in daylight. I would recommend driving through in the daylight and taking note of where you would like to go while you are there. If you have bikes, they are great to use too. The Mammoth Cave camping grounds are conveniently located near the camp store (showers!), a temperature-controlled restroom, and the visitor center. RVs are welcome as well as tent camping. It was quiet at night and I appreciated seeing the rangers patrol at night for an added layer of security. Go soon!!

I took the historic self-guided tour. I liked having rangers posted along the way so you could ask questions. This is my second time visiting Mammoth Cave!

Felt really weird with the reduced capacity, but everything else from friendly Rangers to the beautiful surroundings met expectations.

My first camping experience. It is better than I through. The rest room is very wet.
