Everything was perfect! Literally every person we talked to was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities were pristine and the lodgewow! I had no idea it was so nice and offered so much! Camp grounds were well kept and so were the bathrooms, showers and store. We cant wait to go back!!

Sites nicely spaced apart, clean toilet facilities. Short walk to the Visitor Center. It was perfect for my stay.

Very clean and nice campground, I do feel the sites are a little too close together but still very nice.

The campground we very well maintained. They have dump stations on site as well as fresh water. The camp store is fully stocked for any incidentals you may have forgotten or run out of. The visitor center is walking distance and has Wifi if you need to knock out some work or screenshot a reservation. The guided tours are worth every Penny and are available to a variety of mobility levels. We LOVED this campground. 8-8 Generator hours were more than sufficient. The bathrooms were actually really clean in the campground. There is also a laundry facility, showers and a post office on site. Clean machines 1.75 a load. Cave City Coffee and Creamery is a must stop if you get a chance. Book your tours in advance and stop at the VC info desk. They have photos of the trails/ cave conditions and tour lengths. We will DEFINITELY be back!

The Mammoth Cave NP Campground has many treed spacious sites that include a picnic table and fire ring. There are no water or electric hookups. There were toilet houses throughout the campground. There are NO showers unless you drive to the campground store, on the access road at the front of the campground, where you pay for 5 minutes of water. The problem is that there were only 2 shower stalls for the completely full park. My other disappointment was the lack of internet connectivity at the Visitor Center. The retail people had difficulty running credit cards....... the money machine wouldn't deliver because it needs the internet...... there was no way to download tickets nor get directions or even make a phone call to confirm a horseback riding reservation. I recently visited 5 National Parks out west. We did not have connectivity in the campgrounds, which is joyous, but all Visitor Centers had decent internet and operated like a well-oiled machine where business could be accomplished. C'mon Kentucky. Time to upgrade our only National Park!!

The construction at the campground was muddy and messy, but necessary to update the sewage system.
