Great spot. The campground was very quiet. The only downside was the showers at the camp store were cold. No hot water except in the sink.

Great and clean camping spot. No mosquitos all day or night.

Campsites were large so you weren't on top of your neighbor. Our site had plenty of trees so provided ample shade on the hot summer days. This also led to plenty of downed branches for starting a fire. Bathrooms were clean and air conditioned. Campsite did offer paid showers and laundry. Showers weren't as clean as we desired but got the job done. Close proximity to hiking trails and park visitor center.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mammoth Cave campgrounds. We stayed two nights in the C loop and one night in the B loop. The site on the C loop was nice and farther away from the other campers so it provided some privacy, but we were very near the main road so there was a lot of road noise during the day. When we were in the B loop, there was less road noise. There are a lot of nice hikes in the area and the Mammoth Cave rail trail ride from Mammoth Cave to Park City was a highlight.

The campground was very well taken care of. There is a Walmart Supercenter about 20 minutes away that was very useful. The Cave Tour would be good for most everyone. The Cave Tour was self guided but there were rangers every so often to answer questions. The hot showers and camp store were very much appreciated.
