I was so impressed by the level of knowledge of the park rangers. The park was well staffed, informed and helpful

Overall experience was great, but the showers are terrible. Whoever the company is that is contracted with the park service is needs to upgrade the facilities. The cost is to high and the product is very poor.

Site was clean a d we actually were allowed to change site when we arrived to a first come site.

Fantastic, quiet campground very close to the Visitor Center and cave tours. We are in a 35-ft motorcoach and initially had site 92 in D loop which was too sloped, and we needed to change. Site 109 worked fine. Loop C had more level spots in general than loop D.

The mere fact of being able to Camp inside the National Park was wonderful the greeter, Sharon set a perfect stage for my stay she was delightful showers we're okay I thought it was a dark sky Park however I would not listed as that

Good experience overall. The pad was level and just wide enough to accommodate our 34 foot Windjammer with the slides and awning out. They had just changed the sewer tank so it was really muddy when when where there. The tank had a 8 inch opening and needs an adapter for standard camper hose connection. We where within range of the host station wifi hot spot so we had everything we needed for a "glamping" setup. Within walking distance of the cave entrance and campers store.

We had a beautiful site for 2 nights at Mammoth Cave NP. Full hook-up and plenty of space for our 35 foot motorhome. There was a lovely, new concrete pad and the sites are very spacious. Within walking distance to the Visitors Center and trail system. Highly recommend!

Wow! The caves are awesome, a must see. The park itself is equally impressive. So much to do.

We were very pleased to be able to have a site for our 38' RV in a national park. The site came with full hook ups and was paved and level. As more people travel in RV and less rustic camping, it is nice to see that they are offing more amenities.

Upon arrival 1 hour before Central time check in we were told we were early and the best place to wait was in the Visitor's center parking lot. We had to drive past our OPEN campsite and past an almost empty campground to exit and go to the Very crowded Viistors parking lot that was Not condusive to parking a truck towing a travel trailer!
Could not understand why we could not pull in to our site which was visible from the check in booth as it was one of the only 2 sites with ESW ! Such a frustrating way to begin our visit to Mamoth Cave.
SUGGESTION: please connect at least electric to your sites. You would be able to accomodate many more campers to your beatuiful park. To see so many open sites and then people only staying a night or two is such a waste.

The campground was perfect, clean restrooms and showers. Be sure to bring your quarters as they are paid showers. We did the 2 hour historic cave tour with 6 kids (ages 6-13) and had a great time!

Excellent, loved our campsite! Check-in was great, they were very friendly. The campsites were nicely laid out, not crowded on top of each other. Very enjoyable experience.

Although the cave tours were limited, due to covid 19 we had a really good time on the one available tour. All of the staff and rangers were very friendly and helpful. The ice cream shop was great , camp store close and well stocked. Campground was beautiful, just needs more full hookup sites only because showers were shut down due to covid. Otherwise a wonderful place to visit. We will be back when things open up.

Plus: Ranger Jerry Branford is a national treasure! The cave is .....MAMMOTH!

Minus: The showers were closed. This was not obvious when I booked. Maybe it is on the web site, but it is not obvious. We were very disappointed as we were recently in Everglades NP and it was MUCH MORE crowded than MCNP, but the bath houses (including showers) were fully functional. There is no source of hot water in the campground.

Also the “camp store” was OPEN, but not really. When I asked why there were no supplies on the shelves other than last seasons Beenie Weenie, I was told they had not stocked yet.

The park only offered one tour type starting March 5 - one that appears to be a substantially less-rich experience as opposed to several of the other smaller group size, more intimate tours.
