Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mammoth Caves NP! All park rangers and workers were knowledgeable and professional. The campground, however, is due for a major upgrade although we were lucky enough to stay in one of only two full service campsites. The tours were great and reasonably priced although we found it ironic that the Accessible tour was actually unaccessible to anyone that did not have their own vehicle. We did not as we arrived in a large motorhome.

Surprised at the great campground and excellent cave tour!

There needs to be better signage directing people to the campground. We only happened upon it on our way to the visitors’ center.

Very clean campground, large spacious sites. Each site paved with easily navigated roads.

We loved our campsite at Mammoth Caves. Our only disappointment was learning there were no showers available in the public restrooms. As a family of 7, that was quite difficult. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

We loved camping at the National Park! Spot 93 was spacious, had full hook ups and a deck - a pleasant surprise. The real star of the show, of course, is Mammoth Cave - fascinating history & geology. Be aware, however, if you have any limitations, the path to and from the entrance is a long, steep hill (there are benches) and there are 62 steps! The park rangers were awesome - very knowledgeable and helpful, and the visitor center complex is great.

The volunteer-led birding and wildflower walks were the best part of our visit.

Sad that more parts of the cave were not open for individual walkthrough. Rangers that were stationed various places were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Trailer camping - MORE spots need power and water! Also, need MORE shower facilities.
