We were able to upgrade to one of the very few full hookup sites at the campground entry gate. Great service.Clean facilities. Close access to the visitor center and cave tours. Nice bike path.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mammoth Caves NP! All park rangers and workers were knowledgeable and professional. The campground, however, is due for a major upgrade although we were lucky enough to stay in one of only two full service campsites. The tours were great and reasonably priced although we found it ironic that the Accessible tour was actually unaccessible to anyone that did not have their own vehicle. We did not as we arrived in a large motorhome.

Surprised at the great campground and excellent cave tour!

There needs to be better signage directing people to the campground. We only happened upon it on our way to the visitors’ center.

Not at all what I expected. This is a park I will come back to! Great experience with lots of hiking and things to do. They even have a post office!

Wonderful facilities, great staff, limitless opportunities to enjoy not only the largest cave system in North America but also the incredible trail system to explore the area. Highly recommend. Make sure to make your reservation early. God Bless!

The campground was gorgeous, well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, when Tropical storm Nicole was threatening the east coast we needed to leave early as our home is on the water. The ranger was concerned that we were leaving and wished us well. I was pleasantly surprised the next morning to find that he had credited us the fee for the two nights we missed by leaving. Well done!

The campground is within walking distance of the Visitor's Center. This made visiting the store and joining our Cave tour very easy. All staff were helpful and friendly and the Visitor's Center was enjoyable. Only issue we had was a portion of our campsite was left very rough after some construction had been completed.

We came in a day early and they were able to find us a spot for the night without any trouble. The bathrooms are conveniently located and kept clean. We enjoyed hiking in the park.

What was an overall good experience was ruined trying to get a shower before pulling out. Coin operated showers, tiny space, little privacy and cold water. Its been a long time since I've been in a facility that poor.

Very clean campground, large spacious sites. Each site paved with easily navigated roads.

We loved our campsite at Mammoth Caves. Our only disappointment was learning there were no showers available in the public restrooms. As a family of 7, that was quite difficult. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

We loved camping at the National Park! Spot 93 was spacious, had full hook ups and a deck - a pleasant surprise. The real star of the show, of course, is Mammoth Cave - fascinating history & geology. Be aware, however, if you have any limitations, the path to and from the entrance is a long, steep hill (there are benches) and there are 62 steps! The park rangers were awesome - very knowledgeable and helpful, and the visitor center complex is great.

The volunteer-led birding and wildflower walks were the best part of our visit.

Sad that more parts of the cave were not open for individual walkthrough. Rangers that were stationed various places were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Trailer camping - MORE spots need power and water! Also, need MORE shower facilities.

Great campsite and friendly rangers! Water hookup was leaky and WiFi was spotty, but otherwise wonderful experience! Would definitely go back.

I had one of your (two) sites with elect and water. It was great, and you have a great campground. But, please consider many more sites with elect and water. It's such a good place to camp, But, no one wants to take their camper and dry camp. And, not all campers have generators, plus, who wants to hear them running constantly.

Gotta get the plan in place and stick to it, even in uncertain times. First we were told it would be free, then When we got there the site was more money, then the closed and said we had to leave. What better place to be than in a campground by yourself. Talk about seclusion
