Really nice camp grounds. Its quiet and sites are sufficiently far from each other. Washrooms are clean and well equipped. Made our trip very pleasant

Great destination place. Beautiful place. Unsure why you can’t have enough WiFi to reach the campers. Also, as busy place this is why not showers. Otherwise great.

No showers in campground. No showers in town. Closest shower was at least 40 miles.
Spotty Wi-Fi unless you want to sit near the bathrooms.
Nice and clean sites.

Schoodic Peninsula is beautiful and defines the rocky coast of Maine. We had the typical moody weather from fog, mist, and sunshine. Be prepared for weather and bugs,
The landscape was outstanding, and for August the crowds were not existent. We spent our 3 days exploring the coastal shore taking photos of the landscape, plants and hiking the shorter trails. One should definitely include the longer interior trails and to plan a low tide experience hiking to one of the islands.
Schoodic Peninsula Campground in Acadia National Park is a pristine campground. The sites were very generous in size, very thoughtfully laid out within its natural native beautiful habitat and private.
The restrooms were immaculate, with sensor lights, mirrors, soap, automatic hand dryer as well as paper towels in an adequate space. The attached outside kitchen dish sink within reach to a bear proof food scrap bin made kitchen chores easy and efficient especially for tent campers like ourselves.
For the past forty years we have been coming to Acadia , Schoodic Peninsula has become our favorite part. We were honored to be here and grateful to the National Park system for keeping our favorite Park so naturally beautiful.
Thank you Park management, friendly rangers, and bless the new junior rangers. Tread lightly and have fun exploring.

Nice, quiet campground. Staff was great during check in. Bike paths provide convenient access from the campground to the peninsula. We will definitely return. Sit back and enjoy the stars.
