First, the positives. Extremely spacious sites (especially compared to the other Acadia campgrounds), spotless restrooms, and the general remoteness of the Schoodic peninsula. Now the negatives. I have never been to a NPS camping site where the pit ring doesnt have a grate - a total surprise. So much for grilling out over a fire at this campground! Second, dont imply that the campground has wifi, when the range doesnt extend more than a couple campsites from the routers installed at the restrooms. Im fine without it, just dont under-deliver. And third, the park ranger at check-in needs a new job, or maybe it was just his first day on the beat (in late September?) as most of my questions were met with a blank look. Oh well, we still loved the campground and Schoodic. Maybe my expectations were just too high.

The campground was really beautiful and quiet. All the facilities were impeccable. Note, however, that there's no showers. This is a great base for cyclists.

The sites are private, level and clean. Staff and hosts very congenial and helpful. Trails are natural and beautiful. This park in particular feels much less developed and less busy than the other side of the park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice campground, clean restrooms. Lack of a grill on the fire ring made it hard to cook. Closed shower house was not helpful

The camp sites are nicely private and the overall quiet was excellent. For us, quiet is one of the most important attributes to areas we would use and this one is excellent. Good job staff! The in campground connection to trails and bike paths is excellent. It might be nice to have more than one place at a station to wash dishes.

I have been in the park for many times but it was our first time camping at Arcadia. I looked at photo before I booked, but not knowing there's no shower in the campground. We were hunting for shower in the area which I have never done anything like this before. It's very inconvenient for family with small children.

The campgrounds were so nice. Beautiful and very scenic. Reasonably spaced apart very clean also. The bathrooms were clean and nice. Not as populated side of Acadia.
