We were a little unclear on the specific directions to "park only on the gravel" until we got to our sites and noticed that at least the back 1/3 of each site seemed to be more for tents--at least there was a feeble attempt at growing grass and it seemed fairly level.Rangers were very helpful, sites on the same side of the street were so far away you couldn't see them (and with the Dark Sky efforts no one has exterior lights on either).

Well groomed, clean campground. great staff ready to help if needed. Not a bad campsite anywhere in campground that I can see. WiFi available in some spots a big plus for me. Very clean bathroom facilities. Schoodic a great place to hike and explore the rocky coastline.

We couldnt have asked for a better experience for our first time at Schoodic Woods! We were greeted by two friendly rangers, check in was easy, our site was clean and tidy (we even had some cell service on T-Mobile), the bathrooms were spotless and the overall campgrounds were very quiet. We enjoyed it so much we even booked an extra night after our arrival and have since booked ANOTHER weekend in September. We cant wait to come back!!

Of the three campgrounds we stayed at in Acadia, this was my favorite. The campsites were slightly smaller and not really able to put a hammock up in some. But they had electricity AND wifi, though cell coverage was sufficient in our site. Bathrooms were clean and new, the allowed kitchen cleaning station was nice. The hikes from this campground are great and it is much quieter on this side than the island.

Lovey park, great staff. Sites are spacious and private. Note that the park does not have showers.

Very nice campground. The scenery was beautiful and it was very private. Large sites. We could have stayed here a long time and been very happy. The only thing that would have made it better would have been showers in the bathhouse. Unfortunately there were not any nearby, not even ones we could pay for. Otherwise we had a great stay!

Extremely clean and well organized campground with excellent amenities. All the sites have a nice amount of privacy. I'll definitely stay here again.

Schoodic Woods is absolutely the best campground I have ever stayed in. It is quiet, most sites have privacy, there is electricity and water and some sites have internet.

Such an amazing camp ground perfectly spread out so you know other people are there but in no way intrusive

The campsites are nicely designed with each campsite offering lots of privacy especially on the walk-in campsites. Restrooms are clean.
