Loved the campground! Large flat spaces with privacy. Always a great experience staying in outer National Parks. Thank you for maintaining this space for our enjoyment

Beautiful, well-maintained campground. Poor reservation policy. The only area that had consecutive nights open was a tent-only loop that allowed “tents on ground only.” We have a rooftop tent, and the site warned that our reservation would be cancelled if we arrived with anything other than a tent on the ground. So we booked two different sites elsewhere for our two nights, only to find the tent only loop had a rooftop tent just like ours, vans, and other campers without “tents on the ground.” Each day there were many empty sites throughout the campground, but the staff said they had been paid for and could not be used by anyone else. There needs to be a check-in deadline, a deposit, or some other way to open up unused sites. Empty sites make money and less work for the park but hassle for the campers. We also had a Boy Scout troop in the site next to ours, who got up at 3 am to go hiking. Fun!

Beautiful campground. We stayed on A37 it was so secluded. The grounds were clean as were the rest room. The Rangers were genuinely friendly and helpful. Dana offered great tips on where and when to go. Sun Dew trail was an amazing hike as was sunrise at the point. Things we would not have done had they not been suggested.

Loved this place - clean facilities, clean campsite, private. Just right. Thank you!

I only have good things to say about this campsite!! The actual sites and so well organized, clean, and private. The viewpoints and the pier within the park are absolutely beautiful and perfect for watching the sunset/sunrise. I was worried about having to drive an hour into Bar Harbor and that side of Acadia but the drive honestly goes by so quickly and it’s well worth it to be able to step away from the chaos.
