Clean campground, my site was very private. Visitor center staff excellent. Checkin done fast.Good to have outdoor sink for dish washing. While the rest room building was quite nice, the lack of showers and hot water was unfortunate. No showers were found in Winter harbor. Strongly suggest investing in a shower room for each restroom facility, and hot water?

We liked Schoodic Woods since it was much quieter than the main Acadia Park. Our site was nicely secluded and close to the bathrooms.

Schoodic Woods Campground is a beautiful location. Well maintained, very clean, and had some of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen in a camp setting. Power outlets at our sight were a great touch. It is peaceful and a lovely experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the campground. The staff was very helpful. Wifi was available once you were close to any bathroom. There were many hiking opportunities. Also, we were able to use the free busses that picked us up at the campground and traveled in two directions (masks required). Either towards Winter Harbor or towards Schoodic point.

This stay was the best part of our Maine visit. A beautiful campground on a beautiful peninsula. Take advantage of the park bus it is very convenient. The hiking trails that originate at the park are very nice.

There are no food stores within easy walking distance so do your shopping before you arrive.
