Great campsite, clean restrooms. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!

The signage was easy to follow and the campground was clean. The restrooms were very clean. My only complaint is of a political statement painted on the side of the bridge. I dont go camping to be reminded of political issues, I get enough of that in my daily life.

Nice enough stay. Unfortunately, not a lot of love shown to California public campgrounds. So many squirrels, felt like a squirrel takeover. Honestly, I dont think I would return.

We love this campground. Perfect for kids and dogs. The hosts are available but not intrusive. Great trip as always!

nice site - quick warning, the edge of the site near the tree line has lots of poison oak! Simply keep clear of it and you will be fine, as it does not go into the site itself. The site is quiet, flat and relatively spacious. The camp ground is small with only 15 spaces. Bathrooms were clean, water was working.

It's a small camp with no showers, but I made a reservation after reading the reviews before booking.

Stayed from Thursday till Sunday. Plenty of water still in the swimming holes up stream. Camp host was awesome as always. Site 11 is nice and tucked away from the other sites. Bathrooms were clean everyday.

Perfect tailgate camping spot for getting my youngin’ into the outdoors. The host is great, zero litter anywhere, clean facilities, and just far enough out of town to get some quality star gazing in at night. Will be back.

A tough noisy bully group had two sites. Yelling, argument at 4:00am while walking by other sites, a kids car with booming music and irritating horn. I felt it could be dangerous for the female camp host to confront them. Cant RangersIntervene or sheriffs? The campground is beautiful but horrible campers ruin it.

There were only 3-5 other parties at the campground when I was there (mid-November) so it was very quiet. Area was kept clean and suitable for my tent camping. This canyon, which has multiple campgrounds, is much colder than Santa Barbara at night, be specific when checking the weather. I stayed in space #11, which i couldn't find on the maps. Turned out to be a great option because it was on the outside of the ring road and the last site. No adjoining sites on two sides.

Very available and attentive camp hosts are on site, which made it feel very safe. The sites are nicely spaced apart. Very clean bathroom. Most sites have quite a bit of shade. I was in #11, and got morning sun, which allowed my solar panels to charge. Quite dusty in early November of 2020 d/t lack of rain, but I enjoyed my stay. Hiked along the dry creek bed, saw lots of wild turkeys, and a bobcat. Will go again.

first time camping at paradise and had a great time! reserved a spot for a thursday and had no issues snagging a first come first serve spot until sunday. stephanie, the camp host does an excellent job maintaining the grounds and the bathrooms are pretty clean. there isnt a camp store on the grounds, so make sure youre stocked with everything you need. we had to make a trip down the hill to grab more ice the second day, but it only took about 15-20 min drive to get to the nearest store. would definitely stay here again!
