A beautiful campground surrounded by great hiking and only 20 minutes away from all Santa Barbara has to offer. One of our favorites places!

It was quiet, for January, as expected. Bike rides and hikes in Santa Barbara were good.

Camp host were super friendly. Campground was super clean. Only complaint would be the ground squirrels and their holes, but it is their full time home we are just visiting.

We have gone to this campground three times now and have enjoyed each year. This year did have some set backs with the rain coming from a waterfall at the top of the campground and flooding everything but otherwise the entire place is well kept. Bathrooms are clean. Flushable toilets although no sink to wash hands. Hosts are nice as well.

This was my 2nd time at Paradise. 1st time was great - this time was awful. One campsite group showed up at 930P and were loud for hours. Then - a big trailer showed up at midnight and set up 6 tents and were loud until 330A. No enforcement at the campsite and the sites are too close together.

The campsite itself was nice and shady, but our campsite neighbors put their tents way too close to our grill - it would have been unsafe for us to use it that close to their tents. Additionally, they played loud clubbing music that could be heard throughout the campsite, which kept our two young children awake. They stopped by 10, but the music/talking was far louder than any other campground I have visited.

Nice enough stay. Unfortunately, not a lot of love shown to California public campgrounds. So many squirrels, felt like a squirrel takeover. Honestly, I dont think I would return.

Huge campsites, nice hosts, clean bathrooms- they could use an upgrade and there was one closed but they were kept cleaned. We walked to the river daily and had a great time. We will be back here!

Campground was only 10 miles off the main road but seemed very remote. We arrived after dark. Correct camping spot was hard to see. Campground was completely empty so we took any spot. Campground host never came out to assist it's one and only customer. Zero cell service ( t- mobile)Campground was in a pretty area. Trees were changing colors.

There's a whole sign board covered in rules and policies. But not a site map. The sites are numbered but the signs with numbers are small and easy to miss. Backing into my space, I hit a log sticking ~7" out of the ground because it was directly behind my tire and blocked from my mirrors. Why are there random logs sticking out of the ground? No idea. But they're sure here and you will hit them if you don't have someone guiding you since they're directly in the path of your vehicle when you back into the space. I thought they might be there to protect the tables from vehicles hitting them, but the one I hit was just in the middle of my spot and nowhere near the table or anything else. The spigot nearest our site only works if you absolutely smash the top of the handle down, and then it sprays out at a wide angle hosing down your shoes and pants and everything except where you want the water to go. It's clearly been like this awhile because there's a paper sign that says "push handle straight down for water" that looks several years old. Campgrounds are situated right off the road so there's constant noise from cars even in the evening. Bathrooms were very clean when we arrived, but there are only 4 stalls, and the cleanliness didn't last all weekend with a half full campground. Fire pits are burned out on the bottom with large rusted through holes. Unsure if smoking is allowed or not, but the group next to us decided to chain smoke cigars and cigarettes all weekend. Not really worth the price, especially having to pay an extra $10 a night for a second car despite the two cars taking up less room than a single RV.

It was such a lovely time, the river was running and I got to bring my kids to the swimming hole to play. The campsite was clean and well kept and the host were very helpful at giving directions and points of interest. I cant wait to come back in the spring

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
