The campsite was quiet and relaxing. From our tent the sky was beautiful with stars. The bathrooms are clean a little far depending on your spot. The walk to the river is short and worth the walk. You have to be careful, so many gopher holes you can twist an ankle. Cant wait to go back.

We drove into the campsite and it was in very poor condition. The roads were rutted and the campsite we had selected we could not back into. We decided it wasnt worth the effort to try to stay there. This is the first USFS campground we have ever walked away from. We did not even try to get a refund. The campground host did call when we did not stay. We simply told her we changed plans. It is not her fault that the campground is poor.

The signage was easy to follow and the campground was clean. The restrooms were very clean. My only complaint is of a political statement painted on the side of the bridge. I dont go camping to be reminded of political issues, I get enough of that in my daily life.

The loop that we got was to much in the son and is so far from the restrooms theres no privacy and plus no showers for the prize that we pay we expect more amenities

A beautiful campground surrounded by great hiking and only 20 minutes away from all Santa Barbara has to offer. One of our favorites places!

It was quiet, for January, as expected. Bike rides and hikes in Santa Barbara were good.

Camp host were super friendly. Campground was super clean. Only complaint would be the ground squirrels and their holes, but it is their full time home we are just visiting.

We have gone to this campground three times now and have enjoyed each year. This year did have some set backs with the rain coming from a waterfall at the top of the campground and flooding everything but otherwise the entire place is well kept. Bathrooms are clean. Flushable toilets although no sink to wash hands. Hosts are nice as well.

This was my 2nd time at Paradise. 1st time was great - this time was awful. One campsite group showed up at 930P and were loud for hours. Then - a big trailer showed up at midnight and set up 6 tents and were loud until 330A. No enforcement at the campsite and the sites are too close together.

The campsite itself was nice and shady, but our campsite neighbors put their tents way too close to our grill - it would have been unsafe for us to use it that close to their tents. Additionally, they played loud clubbing music that could be heard throughout the campsite, which kept our two young children awake. They stopped by 10, but the music/talking was far louder than any other campground I have visited.

Nice enough stay. Unfortunately, not a lot of love shown to California public campgrounds. So many squirrels, felt like a squirrel takeover. Honestly, I dont think I would return.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
