everything was perfect except the bathrooms weren't functioning, there were portapotties that had not been emptied in over 12 days. Otherwise, it's lovely -- the camp hosts were great and it was a gorgeous location -- walkable to the remarkable sand dollar beach. would certainly come back if the bathroom situation is improved and portapotties are maintained.

The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The camp hosts lock them so they don't have to clean them and then they bring in porta potties. The porta potties were ACTUALLY OVERFLOWING!!!They was also no toilet paper - we had to bring our own! The bathroom situation was ridiculous!BRING THE FLUSHING TOILETS BACK!!!

This is a great place to camp. The space was plenty and it's about a 10 min walk to the beach. Camp sites could be a little close to other campsites but isn't crowded. During our time the restrooms were out of order. So they were able to bring in portable potties. It seemed like they cleaned the toilets everyday and emptied them every 3 days. The camp hosts were great.. very friendly and helpful. Advise.. lock up your food and snacks. Raccoons, skunks and I believe a fox got into our food. So make sure you lock it up

I don't think I have ever encountered a camp host who truly cares about a campground the way Michael does. Amazing host. He greeted us, told us about the campground, helped us park our trailer with an extra set of eyes. Just a really nice guy who keeps his campground wonderful.

it was pretty cold but the area is super shaded so can see that it would be the perfect camp spot during the hotter summer weather. bathrooms were clean which was a plus! running water unfortunately had traces of ecoli due to the rainfall so do bring lots of water or expect to boil it before usage. hosts were extremely nice and helpful!

They gave our place to someone else (even though we reserved with time) and the people in out spot did not want to move so we had to wait a couple hours before we could get another spot. Plus I thought $15 dollars for a small stack of wood for burning was kind of pricey. Overall it was good thought.

Plaskett is a great camping place along the Big Sur coast. Unfortunately, they allow overflow campers to just set up in the middle area of the campground. Which puts extra pressure on campers adjacent to that area, with the overflow campers crossing through campsites to reach facilities and water. They should just issue permits for the sites actually available and send the others on their merry way.

This is a favorite campground of ours and has been for some 30 years or more. It appeared to be very kept up in terms of the campsites and bathrooms. We love the large campsites that each site affords. Lots of green grass to enjoy. The road in the campground is in need of some serious paving however. Great big pot holes all over. That is most likely something the government has say over when the road will be repaired, not the camp host, who was lovely I might add.

Great time. Hosts very helpful with moving to last minute cancellation site.
Had issues this year in maneuvering the 6 month in advance reservation system.
Seemed like all the sites were reserved earlier than the 6 month window allows.
I will try again in April for October.

Beautiful campground! Make sure you spray your clothes down with permethrin-based tick repellent if you are walking off the path. Ticks were bad this season.

AMAZING! Definitely recommend staying here!! The host was very nice and the campgrounds were clean. The location is incredible, Sand Dollar Beach is just across the street (highway) and just mind blowing. The campground itself exceeded my expectations being well placed between the greenery of the mountains and the bright blue ocean.
