Beautiful area, with a gorgeous ocean nearby. Though we live nearby, this special spot is never taken for granted. I like the low-key management style there; minimal check-in, no incessant golf cart patrols, and a happy vibe in the air. If I have one complaint, it's about all those bobbing bright headlamps everyone seems to wear as they go about their nightly fun on a moonlit night. Take a chance, campers, and turn off your spot beams. Give the moon and stars a chance to work their wonder.

great place to stay. Bathrooms should be cleaned more often. We will be back.

Not as hard to get a spot as Kirk Creek, and in much better condition.

Beautiful, peaceful campsite! I loved the proximity to some of the most beautiful sections of Big Sur. The bathrooms were very clean but the sinks were blocked off due to E.coli in the water, so plan to bring enough clean water for drinking, cooking, hand-washing, and dish cleaning. I would also recommend bringing your own firewood to avoid spending $15 buying from the camp host. Site 013 is against the mountainside, so it was a bit more quiet and private than the campsites in the middle. It was not a huge issue, but the picnic table on the site is on a slope so just be cautious with items rolling off the table. I will definitely be back to Plaskett Creek in the future!

We had a wonderful time at Plaskett Campground. The hosts were fantastic and gave us lots of information about nearby activities. The bathrooms were flush toilets and very clean and spacious, which made changing after spending time at the beach much easier. Because of recent flooding the trail to Sand Dollar Beach was damaged and a little bit difficult to get to due to the 1-3 foot deep trenches that got cut into it. But its do-able. The campsite is beautiful and well maintained with lots of nearby wildlife.

It was a bit cold there. The campground we got didnt have any flat spots for tents, so they let us move to somewhere flat.Great beautiful place.

Nice quiet experience with good camp sites and shade. Bathrooms need lights and sinks should be turned back on, but it is doable. The only bummer of the trip was campfire restrictions really put a damper when the sun goes down.

Perfect midpoint between San Francisco and Ventura.

Each campground has potable running water from a spigot. Bathrooms are well maintained and have running water. The sinks were out of service when we were there in December of 2019. This campground is great because you can walk to Jade beach and other beach/hike opportunities. Campsite #13 was particularly nice.
