As always this is the most relaxing camping site we visit. Sounds of the ocean all night while we sleep. That early a.m. ocean fog rolling over the hills most mornings is absolutely perfect. We spent an entire week here and I can say we would have spent 2 if we had the time off. We visited jade cove beach which is close proximity and its wonderful. We will be back next year!

Beautiful and quiet! The host is amazing super nice and funny and gave us some great recommendations for hiking nearby. Not big on actual campgrounds I prefer dispersed camping with nobody around but this place is awesome 10/10

We love Plaskett!! The campground is clean! We definitely like that there are no more portable toilets that really detracts from the experience! And we hope they never come back!! Adree the camp host is wonderful!!

First my thanks to the Camp Host...I believe her name is Adria? She was as nice as a person could be and was very apologetic. She also was very kind to direct our other friends to Limkiln State Park after we left where we found suitable campsites.

But as for campsite 38, it was very unlevel except for the paved parking spot so we could not put up a tent :( then all the water was contaminated and there were no fires allowed in the firepit. The Camphost gave us a list of alternate sites but they too were not very level for tents and alas with the water contaminated and no fires in the firepit allowed it proved to be a unusable campground for camping.

We were very disappointed with this campground but very pleased with the camp host staff!

I will be requesting a refund for our 3 nights.

Disappointing. Loud. Unclean. We had heard from other central coast residents that this beautiful campground has really gone down hill from the place we all fondly remember and we unfortunately agree.

A great place. Just a few suggestions:
1. There are no lights in the bathrooms. Too dark/dangerous at night. Lights are needed in the bathrooms for nighttime.
2. There is little ventilation in the bathrooms. Bathroom doors could be left open a few inches to allow for ventilation. Even using a small stone to keep them propped open during the day. This happens at other Parks. Needed especially during Covid, etc.

Very happy with our stay at Plaskett Creek Campground. We stayed in site 43 which was one of the larger sites and is off to the side of the park. We really like as much privacy as we can get and this site has a good amount of space between it and it's neighbors. The trach cans and water is nearby so there's a little bit of traffic due to that. The bathrooms are clean and are probably 75 yards away. Flush toilets but no showers or water in the sink. Also, No fires in the fire pits or in the BBQ grills, Coleman type stoves are allowed. All in all this is probably our favorite campsite in the Big Sur area with lost of grass, shade trees and plenty of room between sites. Kirk Creek camp is just a little bit north, is right on the cliffs above the beach but has much smaller sites, pit toilets and very few sites with shade. probably better for people with smaller tents.

Beautiful campground, very clean and so nice to have the grassy campsites. The view of the ocean from our site was great. We will definitely be back!

Nice location in walking distance to sand dollar beach. Firewood is quite pricey with 15.- USD and there is no dump station which for RVers is really a bit of a pain, especially as there are flushing toilets on site, hence sewer canals are technically there...
