Great campground with amazing views at every site. We didnt see any raccoons but camp host emptied trash throughout the day so they must be bad. We loved site 25 given there was storming one day and we were protected from wind.

No cellar service, but the views make up for it.

Best campground on the Big Sur coast. Watch out for the raccoons!

Beautiful campsite close to everything. The road not being open makes it now plentiful with rich wild life such as foxes, raccoons, squirrels, condors, and...ticks. Maybe being premethrin or check your clothes before cashing in for the night. And as usual poison oak is plentiful so definitely stay towards the center of the trail

Wonderful campground right on the coast. Nice location of campsites. Nice, stocked, clean bathrooms. Some great views from certain sites. Saw a racoon, bunnies, and a little fox in the camp, so make sure you put your food away before leaving the site.

Stunning view, campground is well maintained, host friendly and helpful. The Other visitors were very pleasant. A bigger group of party oriented guests was excellently managed by the host and the good sleep of all other guests was saved. :)

Situated on the bluff with ocean views and sunset, this campground is small and primitive. No water, pit toilets ticks and an abundance of poison oak. That said, I cant wait to get back. Camp Host are friendly and do an excellent job with keeping the campground and facilities clean.

With one exception Kirk Creek was the same friendly place I have stayed at on the coast 100's of times. The camp host was friendly and knowledgeable of his site. The bathroom facilities were spotless. He had my reservation when I said my name.I enjoyed my stay and I will stay again. The exception mentioned was the campground had running water back in 1970.

The view are amazing. Some campsites may look like you have a view but there are hedges that are just tall enough so if you are in your camp chair you will not be able to see the Pacific Ocean. No services and we found there is no potable water at CG or nearby . We were told we could get some at a Fire Station or Gorda but there is none so be prepared to have enough. The camphost, Dara, was wonderful and wants to make sure you have a very pleasant stay - she was awesome. Beware of Poison Oak, it is everywhere at this campground. Have fun!

Beautiful site in a beautiful location. Need to watch out for poison oak. Its prevalent around the campsites. Also watch out for very brazen raccoons. They will jump up on the table and eat any food on it, even when youre a couple feet away.

Excellent campground hosts. They had good ideas for sightseeing and made sure we had what we needed. The Nacimiento Road is closed, so it was nice to just hike up there. A couple of nice little beaches just down the road at Mill Creek. Only negative is the campfire wood is damp and punky and costs $15/bundle of 5.

This is campground you come to for the views but not the campsites themselves. If you have a trailer or a camper can you will be fine but minimal effort has been put in for making spots for tents level. For a campground that is always booked would be nice to see more effort put in.
