The hosts were fantastic!! NOT ONLY WAS THE CAMPGROUND CLEAN AND FRESHLY MOWED BUT THE TRAIL TO THE BEACH WAS CLEARED OF POISON OAK!! We have been to Kirk Creek many times and never been able to use that trail due to the overgrowth of poison oak and so we were thrilled!! We've also had issues with ticks at Plaskett and even Morro Bay SP but not here - thanks to the hosts again keeping the grasses mowed! Thank you soooo very much.

Stunning views, very nice small Campground, well worth the drive, recommend bringing your own firewood it's a bit expensive on site.

Great locationamazing views!! Such a bummer that the camp host ran their generator ALL NIGHTin todays world of technologystep it up for the sake of nature!!

Great spot to camp. Awesome views and quiet for the most part. Only issue was the host. The guy left his generator on all night long every night and most of the day. I spoke to a grounds keeper and the excuse was that he lived there. Not really a good excuse. Run it during the day if you have to and shut it down at night. Made it hard to sleep and took a bit away from the experience but oh well. Maybe hell read this and respect the other campers in the future. No one likes generators running during quiet hours.

Views are spectacular. We had perfect weather, hardly any wind. The only downside is because it's so remote the camp host ran her generator mostly all day long, it was very old and very loud. They should upgrade the accomodations for their host site so they can follow the same rules as the campers. Also there were many dogs of campers running loose. Both things worth mentioning but certainly didn't ruin our stay.

We come here every year and will continue to do so. It’s a magical place but this was the first year that we were disappointed about the camp hosts. They were loud, running their generator all day, had friends of theirs stay on the campgrounds, etc. one of their friends was there in a huge yellow party school bus hanging out in one of the sites and was all lit up so the typical serenity of Kirk Creek was lost for the first couple of nights. Once they left, it was back to the beautiful KC campground that we’ve come to know and love.

What an amazing place!! We read through the website so knew before hand poison oak is abundant in the area, no cell service, no public showers or running water so we planned accordingly and had the best week ever! The hike down to the ocean is an easy daily treat. The fire from 2020 has most trails in the surrounding areas closed, but the hosts directed us to Salmon Creek hike to a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole south of the campground. Partington Cove was my favorite hike north of the camp ground. Relax, disconnect and enjoy your time!

Beautiful and well-maintained campground! The spots are close but not too close, you still have enough privacy. I read a lot of reviews about the raccoons so cleaned up camp once the sun went down and so we only saw two during the 2 nights we camped. I will say there is a lot of poison oak, I wore pants the whole time and just stayed away from the bushes and the trail to the ocean (which was extremely overgrown). Overall, a fantastic and picturesque campground!

Beautiful location, nicely taken care of trail down to the beach, extremely friendly camp hosts. Not all campsites have equal views, just FYI. Also, firewood is $15/bundle.

Epic! Beautiful campground with amazing ocean views. If you want to relax and enjoy the game clean this is a great place. Most sites are best for smaller rigs but some will fit large RVs. The driveways are tight so maneuvering may be tough, especially for large trailers. Bring plenty of leveling blocks as well, many site are on uneven terrain and it was difficult for us to level our trailer.
