Kirk Creek is a beautiful campground right above the Pacific with ocean views from all the campsites. It was clean, well maintained, and the host was great! Take a short walk down to the beach to get an up close view, or take a dip in the creek. Highly recommend this unique site.

The campground hosts are fantastic! The place is kept clean and has a friendly atmosphere. I always enjoy coming to this place because of location and natural beauty. Its a plus when your fellow campers are in a great mood.

The camp hosts were fantastic. They were so helpful and friendly. They made checking in so easy and had firewood when I really needed it. Definitely will be back soon!

Amazing campsite. So close to the water (ocean), yet the weather was pleasant with almost no wind. Just know that there is no running water here (we had to head to Plaskett Creek, and fire station to get our refills). Also racoons were a major nuisance at night, they were marauding as a gang, raiding our food supplies and terrorising small dogs (of course I'm embellishing, but you get the idea :)). They did rip a hole in our collapsible water container though (So some kind of fresh water source would help them too :)). They also toppled the trash containers and made a mess - park services should invest in racoon-proof bins.

The camp site is very well kept and clean, such a relaxing location by the sea. Me and my family had a blast! Only con is the poison oak that is found everywhere on the site. I got an allergic reaction from it, just need to he more careful when moving around. Other than that, it was bery good.

Beautiful campground with great hosts and glorious views. If youre planning on getting campground 25, its nice but on the smaller side. Probably best for 2 people.

Campsite has beautiful views of the beach. Unfortunately when we were there it was pretty foggy most of the day. We stayed at site 25 which was near a bathroom. The bathroom smelled and we would get frequent whiffs of the horrible bathroom smell at our site. Camp fires were not allowed during our stay there and you can only use a stove with a California Campfire Permit. No one checked to see if we had the permit. Also, several campsites had fires going and no one told them to extinguish the fires which was really unfair as the nights were cold and we would have loved to have a fire but respected the rules.

The campsite is lovely overall. Our particular site was small and did not have a grass area for setting up our tent. It was dry and dusty. We also had neighbors who ran a generator until 11pm... bummer!

The pit toilets were clean though and overall the site was clean. The walk down to the beach was nice!

Great campground with a beautiful view. Trail from campground goes to a beautiful beach but is slightly overgrown. Wear long sleeves to avoid itchy plants. Children loved this campground because of the beach access. Some trailer campers kept bright exterior lights on at night that hurt night sky viewing and night time ocean views. Campers using the hiker/biker sites were loud and obnoxious late into the night and early in the morning. Overall campers at this campground seem less knowledgeable about outdoor etiquette and LNT.

We had SUCH a great time. First time at this spot. There probably is not a bad space in the entire site. The hosts were SO awesome-- we only were able to reserve one night but they gave us all the info on how to get a FF spot. Then the next day, there ended up being a no-show reservation and they allowed us to get an even BETTER spot that we originally reserved for the first night. Both nights were great and beautiful all around. Watch out for poison oak but otherwise I cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
