Stellar as always. Beware: There is a ton of poison oak both in the campground, the hike down to the beach, and on the Vicente Flats hike across the highway. Be sure to bring some Tecnu wipes for you and the pups and wear long pants + long sleeves.

I cant rate our experience at Kirk Creek. Because of a medical emergency we had to leave after two hours of arrival. We notified the camp hosts and they said to go on line and cancel our three nights of reservations You gave us a refund for the first night, but not for the remaining two additional nights. I assume this was an oversight and our refund will be coming for the additional two nights. We would like to return to Kirk Creek in the future as it appears to be a very nice park. Betty Johnson

Sites are not well maintained and took one hour to get trailer in our site that was supposed to be suitable for up to 30ft camper.I think this needs to be reviewed for some of the sites if no improved to fit larger campers like our that was 28ft the max length should be shorter for this campground. The scenery at the campground and the area was fantastic we checked out the campground trail to the water only went part way as it is washed out didn't feel safe .

Space 6: First and foremost, beautiful views. Towed in a 25ft trailer with a full size truck and holy moly, this space is exceptionally tight trying to get into. It wouldn't necessarily be that bad, but they have big rocks placed to designate the parking spots, but boy oh boy, they increase the difficulty to get into this spot. There are other spots in the campground that seemed to be a better/easier to maneuver a trailer into, but although space 6 is tight, it is "doable." Also, the "loud" generator that people speak about in previous posts was not that bad to me, but once again, I think it is personal preference for everyone. This is a very quiet type of campground, I did not see young kids around. And lets just say, if you want the quiet time/relaxation type of camping trip, this is the spot as there is really nothing else to do but admire your surroundings. You will be without any type of cell service/wifi, so plan accordingly if that matters to you. All in all, I would totally go back, but wouldn't stay in space 6 unless I planned to do so in a tent set-up or had a smaller vehicle and smaller trailer. This place will really take your breath away though, the ocean is just beautiful.

Amazing! Really enjoyed our time here. The views are spectacular. 10-minute walk to the water (rocky - no swimming). 5ish miles to Sand Dollar Beach, it's so pretty. We'll be coming back!

Avoid the south loop. We had site 6 which would have been lovely if it was not adjacent to the camp host site. For some reason the camp host has an industrial generator that is sized to power a small apartment complex. Generator kicked on at 9pm each night and ran for 4 hours. It sounded like we were camping at a truck stop. ( Guess normal quiet hours do not apply to the host). It also kicked on and ran during the day. After the first noisy night we asked politely if it would run every day and the host gave a terse response that he had no control over when the generator turned on. We were in a trailer and the noise was only buffered slightly. If you are in a tent you will definitely need earplugs.

Beautiful campground, amazing location. Lots of hikes all along HWY 1 north and south of the site, as well as one right off the campground that goes down to the beach, and one that goes straight up into the mountains! Would highly recommend.

The views are spectacular, Watchout for the Poison Oak along the trails and around the campsites. The camp hosts was excellent and stopped by to see if you needed firewood every night. Firewood a bit pricey $15 but could use CC if didnt have the cash.

Spacious spot, high on the smaller circle. Views over spots in front of you. RV/trailer door on view side.
