We love this campsite!!! Yes theres no running water, yes they have vault toilets, But the views are amazing we usually take a tarp in case it rain to protect our tent. 3 years going and every time its a different experience beware also, raccoons will get into your ice chest and totes if you dont secure them.

Something needs to be done about the outhouse toilets. Smell is terrible. Get some lime.

Great view for some site. Awsome camp host. Only issue is no drink water on site. Please remember to bring enough water while you stay. Also there is whole family racoon live nearby, they will steal any food if not store in the car or sealed container:)

The view is just awesome, and it is a perfect spot for star watchers.

It's hard to beat the views, but the campground itself could use improvement. Both of the bathrooms smelled terrible, and you could smell them from most of the sites. The poison oak was ubiquitous, and it was not trimmed back on the trail to the beach. Some sites are great, but many have no privacy from neighbors. Dance music was playing late into the evening both nights that we were there.

I got there late and parked and slept. The next day was greeted by the camp host who was very pleasant and thankfully had not given a way my spot (I was a day late) due to the Hwy 1 closure and fewer campers on site. The noise from the ocean woke me up a few times as did rummaging / noisy racoons. Keep your stuff locked up! They also went through the communal garbage can during the night. Host needs to lock the garbage cans! She was very nice and even delivered firewood. My car battery went dead so I decided to hoof it back home early. I love the site, it was clean and absolutely gorgeous. The beach is pretty but fairly unusable, don't expect to have a lot of sand (is mostly diftwood and a nice trek through poison oak to get to it). I loved my stay and will go back.
