This was a great camping spot. We had one bar of cell reception, a rarity in a national park campground - enough to text and call at least. There was fresh, potable water nearby that tasted exceptional! This campground only had pit toilets, so be prepared. There was a decent amount of privacy, and thankfully the neighbors did follow the quiet hour rules. Camp spots were nice and flat for tent camping. This campground is centrally located in the park, which is ideal.

Very nice campground. Pretty views. Nothing much nearby in terms of stores (but we expected and planned for that). Bathrooms are not flush, but were well maintained. Campsite was nice. We were able to find two flat areas for two tents. We would totally visit again.

Amazing campground on the hills, quieter, spacious, nice camp host. I received very weak service with Verizon. Couldn’t turn on generator one loop which dint make sense to me, hope they change that. Dogs are not allowed in the lake which is such bullshit, it is actually entire Lassen do not allow dogs in trails even with leash, how the heck dogs can’t be allowed in wilderness which is absurdly stupid. But Lassen is super terrific will be returning again before end of summer

Beautiful place. I chose the tent only area. The spaces are huge. Shaded, large trees, nearby lake and meadow, great scenery. You get a table and fire pit, and parking for one vehicle. Water faucets are nearby. This is a central location, close to many of the parks attractions. My only criticism is that you only get vault toilets, and no showers. For a real shower experience you need to drive 25 min.
