Loved everything for the most part. The bear lockers gave piece of mind. But if you are tenting, be advised that the actual camping spot is about 25X25 at the most. Your neighbors are respectful for the most part be patient with the loud man bonding beer can popping and babies that cry much of the time. I suggest to skip Friday-Monday. Lassen peak is a must, even if you can only make it to the Grandview (1/2 of ascent). Between Summit lake South and the Peak trail there is an awesome unmarked pull out that is really great for some solitude. The pull outs throughout the park are great, but be careful on the longer stretches between campsites and trail heads because there are those that drive too fast and even pass. King's creek picnic area is really nice. The King's creek trailhead is usually pretty packed for parking go early. I left my camera there and no one has responded to my email inquiry for over a week now, maybe phone tomorrow. If going in dry camping season be sure to bring lots of water 3-5 gallons per person per day. The fire ring was level and not packed with coal ash. Summit lake itself was iffy to get to from camp, go thu the drive to the established trail head. Next time I hope to do the Chaos crags jumbles as I am a big fan of boulders. I want to do Cinder Cone Butte Lake, but that is not IN the park. Be advised that the free dispersed camp before the lake has a tree blocking the drive that has not been removed. Best thing? All the lady rangers. I love to see women represented so well! Def try to go again after the spring melt next year. Last note, the blasted large devastated zone is profound, Mother Nature is a bad mamajamma. A.M.A

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
