Sweet cabins and cosy even though our propane heater ran out in the middle of the night. Situated by a beautiful lake and at the end of the season, and during the shut down, so not sure if it is always so quiet there. Shocking to see how much of the park was burned by the fires in the past few years but still beautiful. Want to go back and see how things change!

I have stayed at lots of campgrounds and cabins. This cabin was really well maintained and the grounds were beautiful. Very close to Manzanita Lake for sunsets and photography. Every cabin has its own bear box and the bathrooms are close by. Showers were better than most campgrounds - hot water and good pressure. Camp store had delicious coffee.

The location is gorgeous and the tent cabin is cute. It is great that one can get a nice hot shower there, coffee in the morning and other food items. From the lake it is about a half hour drive each way to some of the more popular hikes. It doesn't get a 5 because the mattress was very uncomfortable.

Cabin was very clean! But we found the bed too small for us. Just personal preference.

Lovely location. No lantern provided this year and only one bathroom working at the outhouse. Store couldn't pump gas because of a computer problem. Enjoyed bringing our tahiti and floating the lake (finally). Discovered and enjoyed 2 hikes new for us: Paradise Meadows along Hat Creek and Chaos Crags gentle trail which starts off the road leading into the cabin & campgrounds wending up to the Chaos Lake which has water in it this year. Yay! Wonderful stargazing at the peninsula on the lake.

Cabin 9 was amazing. Weather could have been a little better.

The cabin was rustic as advertised, but was clean and fresh. I would like to see more substantial and comfortable chairs for the porch and table. It was a good location and I would recommend the stay.

Manzanita Cabins are a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the out-of-doors. Then only drawbacks I find iare that there is no internet service available for campers. This is inconvenient when you have family that needs to be able to contact you in emergencies. Also, the cabin we rented was supposed to sleep 3, however, there was only one full-sized bed, which meant one of us had to sleep on the hard floor. The online information should state what sleeping accommodations are in each cabin so campers can come prepared. Otherwise, this camping experience will become an annual tradition for us as we had such a wonderful time.

Good place to stay. Cabins not too close to each other, water and toilets nearby. Easy access to the lake, unfortunately the kayak rentals weren't operating during our stay. Stayed 3 nights / 2 1/2 days in the park. Be sure to keep your door closed - the first night a mouse got into our cabin; kept us up half the night, couldn't get it out until morning(!)
