The location is fabulous right in the middle of everything and the lake is spectacular, especially at sunset. The cabins are super clean and warm with heaters inside. The beds are comfortable. I would definitely go back and stay there.

Great spot, cabins were clean and well set up. Check in super easy and right. Short walk to lake and near-by facilities. Excellent spot to finish up after a day in the Park.

Cabins are nice, and the site by the lake is beautiful. I was disappointed that the store didn't seem to have much in the way of staples, like milk, eggs, etc., which is what I've come to expect from other campground stores. They did have an extensive selection of T-shirts and souvenirs, I just think it could be rounded out with things you need when camping. The staff was very nice. You can rent kayaks here, or just enjoy relaxing near the lake. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was very clean, conveniently located near the lake and bathrooms. It was easy to park near and there were near boxes to store food in. There wasn’t a lantern/ overhead light (as advertised), be sure to pack a lights- the cabin is well shaded and the interior stays pretty dark!

Make sure you have a good light for the interior!

Manzanita lake is beautiful and peaceful , yet there is plenty to do hiking , various water activities like renting a kayak , etc. You can also just sit and relax . It is conveniently located next to the general store where you can get ice , warm food , souvenirs, cold drinks , sandwiches , camping and swimming supplies , etc . You can also gas up and take a shower ( you purchase the code to take a shower inside the store , no need to bring quarters ) . There are flushable toilets and it has electricity and sinks where you can brush your teeth next to the store as well . Scattered throughout the cabin sites are bathrooms (no lighting and not flushable )and water spigots . You also have bear lockers , picnic area, and fire pit next to each cabin . When you book your cabin , be mindful of the types of bed you will get . We stayed at a couple of cabins with a full bed and another with 4 sets of bunk beds (can sleep 8) . The cabins are clean but youll have to bring your own lanterns to have adequate lighting . The cabins are close to the lake and many of them have a lake view . They also have a lot of tent and RV camping sites . When we visited, people are respectful about keeping quiet at night and early morningnot sure if it was because of the camp host strictly enforcing it (she is awesome) . Its located close to a ranger station and one of the park entrance . Overall, it is a wonderful place for family to gather and have different adventures or for a peaceful retreat . I highly recommend it . Bring your walkie talkie if you want to communicate with each other there is no phone signal or internet here (go to Bumpass Hell for a good AT&T signal ).

The cabins are in a great location close to the lake, camper store, showers, running water and places to dump garbage. I also like how it's a short 2-3 minutes drive to a location that gets cell service. The only issue we had was that the heater in the cabin didn't work. Apparently, the pilot light went out after a recent maintenance. Luckily, I was able to find someone in the camper store at 8 PM and get him to fix it for me.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Really loved kayaking on the lake and Paradise Meadows hike. The showers at this campsite are cold but they work. Definitely a good option for anyone who wants the camping experience without the hassle of pitching a tent.
