Cabin was good, heater worked and we had space in the 2 room cabin, online mentioned that a lantern was included but we didnt have one, we brought our owns then no problem. The cabin had a smell of strong cleaning products that we didnt like

Cozy cabin with heat (but no electricity even though I could see the old wiring there).Good for family or a small group to relax and stay when it's raining out there.

Bare bones, but clean and functional cabins, nestled right next to the lake. The facilities were all very clean even during the long weekend. No electricity was a new experience for our family - but enjoyed basking in the moonlight. Would highly recommend for anyone not ready for tent camping but want to experience the camping in the wild

Perfect size for our party of 5. Mattress base is quick sufficient if you get your sleeping bag. Location is excellent, just a stone throws distance from the lake. Camper store nearby is decently supplied with food, drinks and other small items you may need. Our second time in these cabins after more than a decade. Will stay here again on our next visit to Lassen.

We spend a few days in a camping cabin every summer. This year, the main issue we encountered was the notable shift to very meager selection of goods and food items in the camp store. Clearly, the concession-holder has chosen to stock the most minimal of food and sundry items, which is a major change from years past. The Lassen/recreation.gov website for this location should clearly inform campers that the store is carries a very limited selection of goods (milk, for instance) so that campers can plan ahead. We also discovered, after paying for showers, that there was no hot water in the women's shower room. If you charge $5.00 for a shower, the water should be plenty warm.

An abundance of moths in the cabin.

Horrific toilets and rampant price-gouging: those are the two things that stand out to me when I think of Manzanita Lake cabins in the Lassen National Forest. The cabins had rock-hard "mattresses" and were overrun with insects. Two nights there seemed like two months of jail time.

The cabin was great and we enjoyed talking to many of our neighbors. We had a number of great hikes. It was quiet at night. The only issue of importance was that the store is advertised as carrying groceries and there were virtually none to speak of except some junk food, there was no milk or eggs or fresh produce. Kayaks were advertised and they were not available for our stay. Firewood is extremely expensive at $15 for a couple of sticks of kindling and five small logs. Next time we will know to bring absolutely everything we might possibly need.

Easy checkin system, peaceful clean cabins close to the lake and hiking. Great place to base out of to explore the park.

The staff at the camper store were amazing! They are so helpful and friendly.I find the cabins and out houses in great condition. The cabin floor was very dusty but I guess thats hard to avoid.Overall we have a lovely stay.Thank you for maintaining the park!
