Great campground in a great location!

Campsites on the road’s outer edges are more spacious and less claustrophobic. Bathroom facilities easy to access and cleaned regularly. Lovely, well marked and a wide variety (length, altitude gain, topography) of hiking trails to explore! Our camp hosts were awesome. They were available and super helpful and fixed a problem (campsite occupied by another party) without drama or confrontation. They helped us navigate the process for obtaining a FCFS campsite for 2 more nights - which isn’t intuitive.

Lake wasn't much for fishing, but enjoyed kayaking around it and with other lakes nearby, no biggie. Has all the amenities, though I would recommend going to the next town in Station to get wood if you need stocking up. $15 for a bundle of 6 wet cuts isn't good especially when the sun isn't out to dry it. Grab a wheelbarrow full for $20. Easy in and out and plenty spots to reserve. Most all maintain quiet hours and are clean. Bathrooms and trash are consistently upkept.
