Manzanita Lake Campground is near Manzanita Lake,Restaurants Lake and Lily pond. All three sites are suitable for seniors to hike and take about an hour. Manzanita Lake is more suitable for photographing the sunset over Lassen Peak.

Lassen is truly an incredible park and Manzanita is a wonderful place to camp with access to every part of the park. The campground is clean, well-maintained, sites are spacious and shaded. Internet access is at a turnout about a mile up the road. The lake isnt good for swimming (too many rocks and plant life) but beautiful for boating. Make the drive over to the east side of the park and climb Cinder Cone if youre able - its a strenuous climb but the views from the top and the experience of doing it are well worth the effort!

We were traveling as two couples with two cars and two tents. The tent-only loop was sold out so we got a site among the RV and trailer loops. Although we were fearful that the RV compressors might be annoying this was not the case. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time here. Clean facilities and good coun operated showers. A special shout-out to Kayden at the store cafeteria, who provides exceptional customer service! B & G

Location is everything here. Was in Loop "C" and really enjoyed Kayaking on the lake. LAundry area was OK, no waiting line. Did not try the local showers, used my RV instead.

The only annoying this was a large group of junior high children who were noisy and clogged the bathroom. I'm glad they're getting a start in appreciating the great out of doors, though. The park and campground were great -- better than expected even.

This is a lovely spot, and we appreciate that Lassen is usually not too crowded. Just across the road is a great self-guided nature hike. We appreciated the convenience of the little store and restaurant.
