We had a lovely time at Mt. Lassen. Spent time hiking in the mornings and kayaking in the afternoons. Campgrounds were fine, nice & clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location with well maintained facilities. Only issue was the showers were closed.

Great, quiet campsite that is a great location to visit other parts of the park.

I have been coming to Manzanita Lake since 1986When I first started coming I was a kid I stopped going to Manzanita Lake for Bre five years from 2010 to 2015 I have not stayed the night at Manzanita Lake except for last year I do not like you guys rules about generators only allowing three times a day I do believe that the Manzanita Lake Campground area is big enough to accommodate one section for people that would like to run their generators and or quiet generators at that your camp host our rude and act like they are the police I will tell you this much it has been a generational thing for us to come to Lassen national Park it started out with my parents parents and Im trying to pass to Tradition to my kids but its very hard for me to stay there it is almost ran like you were in San Francisco or the city its too commercialized too many rules and no emphasis on having fun I might just have to find a different place to stay while visiting the park

We were totally unprepared for the beauty and simplicity of this campground. Tall mature pines, and several trails within walking distance We hiked the loop around Manzanita Lake at sunset and the views and wildlife encounters were stunning. The hike to Lassen Peak was also worth the effort. This campground was our favorite during our 6 national park tour this past summer.
