Site 41 is very good. Close enough to bathroom and drinking water. Enough flat space to hold wawoma 6 and wawoma 4. October is cold at night need to bring heater. Will definitely come back for sure.

Amazing place to campground. Ample space for putting tent(s). The campground is right next to the lake. So take your coffee in the morning and walk around and take the view in. Toilets are clean.

We absolutely loved camping at Lake Manzanita. Great campsite. Awesome swimming close by. We will totally come there again.

Good camp sites, washrooms are clean and grocery/equipment store nearby.

Loved the walk around the lake! Saw birds, ducklings and small cascading waterfalls. The showers have a hook and a shelf so bring a bag to hold your clothes and towel in. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked, but did not have lights on in them at night. Things in the area that we loved were fishing, Burney Falls and Subway Cave.

Very quite campground in October. Wish they would allow FCFS campers with no reservations. There are plenty of open campsites

Ive camped at several national parks, Manzanita Lake Campground is my all time favorite. I was in A loop. Very close to lake, camp store, and park entrance. Bathrooms were always clean. Campsites were big and well kept. If you did not feel like cooking, lots of food options at the camp store. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely plan on camping here again.

We had an amazing time at Manzanita Lake Campgrounds. The campsites are spacious, nestled in tall trees, great for hammocks, and plenty of room for a couple tents, our van and extra car. We brought kayaks, (they also rent them at the Camp store) and spent the day at the lake (so clear, you can see the fish jumping) The Camp Store has everything you need if you forget anything and the staff is very helpful & friendly. We also hiked Bumpass Hell Trail and well worth the amazing sights of sulphuric pools and geothermal area. Overall great family trip!

Fabulous time

We stayed in a cabin and also camped in the sites. Manzanita Lake is very accessible for children and seniors in terms of an easy hike around the scenic lake. We always see abundant wildlife including, but not limited to Bald Eagles, waterfowl and deer. We generally frequent the camp store for a frosty ice cream. Across the main access road through the Park, we loved the guided trail adjacent to Reflection Lake and the original camp director's cottage. The cabins were a luxury given that they had propane heat! Very nice and cozy. We will always return to Manzanita Lake and Lassen National Park!
